That error code means it can't communicate with the machine hosting the world. It could be caused by various issues, but the developers are aware of the error and are working on a fix.

Is there any way you could give us a rough estimate on timing for this? Even just is it hours or days?

I hope they give us a timeframe.... but my guess its between 2 to 3 days at the least considering my ticket interactions. Though I am not an optimistic guy in general lol I rather get surprised than disappointed

With Sue gone for the weekend there probably will not be an eta on anything I know they are working on it because the world came back up

nothing against you Sinsalie, I thank you for the communication you have been providing. But I will say that, the lack of official updates from gportal is bad. I work at a company that provides a service 24/7, Im a one man show here when it comes to support, and when my servers or a device goes down, I have to constantly provide updates on my progress to resolve the situation, to my boss AND to the client. All this while also working on the solution. It really doesnt take them too much out of their time to write a few words... or even send a voice note to the people that do the announcements.

That being said, I have been granted 3 days to my server time for this by ticket support so at least there is that so far.

I just hope they resolve this so that I can play a little bit tonight or tomorrow, since it is a long weekend for me and had no other planes but to play dune. And I know I could jump into another server, but other than weekends I dont have much free time to play, so starting over on a server that I wont stay at is not really something I would like to do lol

Just a heads-up: this Discord is community-driven, which means not all staff are present here, and there are no DevOps team members directly in the server. We have to go through our community managers, who then reach out to DevOps for updates. Once we get info we're allowed to share, we'll pass it along.

Yep, we wish we could update that, but we're not sure who has access. I'll try to get in touch with the right person and bring it up on Monday as part of improving the status page.

Appreciate it! it goes a long way when the provider of a service talks to their clients. It wont calm down some people, but for the general part it does bring a certain calmness to see progress or at least have news ✌️

One of my friends who is playing on my server cannot log into the server because he was flying in the world map when the server broke, hope this will be resolved when the fix the world map issue.

My friend KrazyLad34#09913 who was not able to log into the game was able to log in but he has lost everything that was in his inventory including all his gear and weapons that he had equipped. Is there anything that can be done about that?

unfortuately I spent the majority of the day trying to take server links from people to get them out of the DD before the storm hit and it was totally busted up by one person.

I mean I was trying and I had the ear of the tech team and they were fixing them as we went.
