Hello there have you tried to restart the server and wait 15-30 mins for it to restart to try it again?

it takes it about 15-30 mins for it to restart sometimes less.
If it doesnt come up in that amount of time I would submit a support ticket.

Well make sure both of you to submit a ticket but only one each because more than one ticket from the same user can slow down the process.
If you both have servers that is.

Why is it that Voidstorm is the only server to go down this much? I am not even going to put in a ticket because it does no good. Gportal should ask Funcom for special permission to move characters to a different world at this point. Since they are not even official servers there literally no reason why this should not be possible.

I wouldnt submit I would reply to the one you have already. And you are more than welcome to send Dune a post on their discord too. I know there are many known issues but they will iron out eventually.

Are you saying Gportal will iron out eventually or Funcom. Because Funcom isn't the ones we pay a monthly fee to play a server on. The game works, the server doesn't. Don't get me wrong, i know it is a matter of time and patience before the server comes back up. The problem is that during that time, we do not get that time given back to us. Voidstorm for instance has had horrible downtimes, one lasting the entire day. Do we get money back for that day? No. Do we get that time added back? No. Anyway, i didn't come here to fight, I came to ask a legitimate question while giving a possible solution.

Well i do hate to tell you but the server design was setup by the devs and it doesnt always work right.... js
If you want answers you are more than welcome to submit a ticket to support for answers. I am not a gportal employee I am a** volunteer** helper that trys to decipher issues that can be solved before submitting a ticket to allow more time for the team to find fixes for the majors issues ... When you buy a service that relys on other services (power company, internet service providers, Game devs, etc) it is hard to say who or where the fault lies.
This is also in multiple forums now you commenting.... and your asking the wrong people.....
OK so what happened in NY there was a power grid that overloaded and things went down.... there is your answer for that.

their customer service has always been top notch for me!!!
they respond faster than any other company i have ever rented from
their prices are really nice and they allow for low slot choices

they can only post about what they are aware of.....

Do all yourself a favor and go make a character on a public server to fall back on when things happen. That is what I did!!!!
