Hi, i am playing a modded server, but ever since creating it, me and my friends joined the server and it keeps crashing almost immediately.
I had a Gportal server a few months ago, a different world but pretty much the same mods and the exact same version (1.21.1), and everything always worked there.

is it client side or server side that crashes. as that crash there can be a myriad of things. Need some more info. Like Modpack. version and also a crash log. would help a heap there.

its client side, only minecraft crashes, the server stays online. these are my modpacks:
BiomesOPlenty-forge- 1.21.1-21.1.0.12.jar
OptiFine_1.21.1_HD_U_J1.jar
TerraBlender-forge-1.21.1-4.1.0.8.jar
trade-cycling-forge-1.21.1-1.0.18.jar
transcendingtrident-1.21.1-4.9.jar
travelersbackpack-forge-1.21.1-10.1.11.jar
Xaeros_Minimap_25.2.6_Forge_1.21.jar
XaerosWorldMap_1.39.9_Forge_1.21.jar
nofeathertrample-1.21.1-1.3.jar
bettervillage-forge-1.21.1-3.3.1-all.jar
collective-1.21.1-8.3.jar
GlitchCore-forge-1.21.1-2.1.0.0.jar
libraryferret-forge-1.21.1-4.0.0.jar
tidal-towns-1.3.4.jar
livingthings-forge-1.21.1-2.2.0.jar
the version on the server is forge-1.21.1-52.1.0, so is forge minecraft.

# opal hinge i just tried it, and yes i do

okay if your game crashes in single player as well. its some mod conflicts you need to solve. You could install Crash assist in your client. at times it can tell you a few things that is in conflict with each other.

#

can also be that some of the mods or plugins requirer other mod liberys installed. or are in conflict with thise. so yes best option. install crash assistant. into your client. and se what it will give you of information.

yes that one

opal hinge
#

so i just put it into my mods folder? or install it like optifine f.e.

hexed sundial
#

just into modfolder.

opal hinge
#

okay i will try that

hexed sundial
#

but also optifine can be one of the main failures as well . as alot of mods dont like it. and other plugins datapacks needs it.

#

But sadly cant help with much els then this information.

opal hinge
#

this is what it gave me

# opal hinge this is what it gave me

6/16/2025 1:25:25 PM 1002 Error The program javaw.exe version 21.0.7.0 stopped interacting with Windows and
was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available,
check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

#

So . some windows shinamigans. I cant help you with that. as i curently have my own problems with my win 10. and my pc is to old to update to win 11 . so that one i have absolutely no ideer about. But could be as simple as winprotect that is blocking off minecraft.

opal hinge
#

oh okay, thank you tho for your help so far! what should i do now, do you have an idea who i could ask?

hexed sundial
#

i would sugest to look up guides regarding this ""Error The program javaw.exe version 21.0.7.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. """ Youtube and google is your friend . and often way faster . As its a client side thing.

opal hinge
#

okay i will do that, tysm for your help!

hexed sundial
opal hinge
#

yes true, i will do!

opal hinge
#

so i think i figured it out, it was optifine all along, i removed it from the mods folder and so far no crashes. been playing for a while now and it works fine!
