I've been debating on getting a custom server and was wondering if I did it could i add mods to it

Yes you can mod Farmsim 25 there are several websites that offer mods for it.

well modhub has some I didnt read the xbox part at first but the answer is yes through modhub

I also don't understand how this would add mods to a console server

I watched it all, all it said was crossplay but if I add mods in the fs25 server config would it all show up on console with just console or would pc mods also work

well you use the in game web interface

IF you use a pc to make a server your other players will all need the same mods and all would have to update them when they have updates.

I am not sure about how xbox does the updating and if they need the same mods i would say they would

Im watching that video and its pretty detailed on what to do.

well i have the mods on my xbox and i have them downloaded on pc but if I try to upload it into the dedicated server page for mods it don;t show up

Under settings you will have to create a web user with Admin rights for yourself if you are connecting from a pc to set up your server.

that is where you will put the info in for you and others

ok yeah the screen is so dark at the top i didnt see it

and the first guy just skipped to it

ok after you get all the mods on there you want you have to put a check in all the mod boxes and activate them then start it

Make sure to set up the non admin users also so they can have access to the mods you install

the activate is on the home screen

Alright so you have started your server from the G-Portal interface.

Have you also started it from your webinterface?

so the first issue is that you dont see your server on the xbox right?

when you search for servers, you should allow the game to list empty servers aswell

It looks for the name, all maps, 16 players, English, no password, only downloaded dlcs and allow cross play

Can you disable the only allowed mods/dlcs

I can see your server online, so it must be something with your filtering

Make sure your mods are also only crossplay, if you have mods that are just pc on there and your server is crossplay it won’t work or show up in in the server:)

These mods are not on modhub, so most likely not crossplay

No so basically if you have crossplay ticked and pc mods on there it wouldn’t show or it can sometimes but it will come with red sign , if there third party mods from other place then modhub then its going to be pc mods only

Well I do see his server, so it is working for PC, but i think these 3 mods i just sended are the ones that are making sure he cant see the server

Next, how do I make farms it says server admin hasn't created any farms yet
