Actully, just looked and I have accses to everything but the files are gone. Whenever I use the web file manager or FTP it brings me to a blank slate.

Are you sure your friend granted you access? You should check this with your friend first

By the sounds of it they may of taken privileges away so you can’t see the files/ can’t access the files!

It's just like its a new server with nothing in there

Well, a client computer restart won't affect any of the servers, unless you are running it locally.

I think you must have had it locally, as when you restart your computer, nothing happens on the server.

My friend has removed and added me back and it is still a plain server

The web file manager and ftp is cleared for me

If your friend puts in files, and you cant see them, means that your friend has not given you the Read permissions

But i had them before he and he made no changes to my perms

Also they don't appear in the FTP for anyone

Is there anyone else that can provide help? Just so I don't have to wait forever
