Ok that's why. I completely forgot until now. Here's how you do it.
- Select the server you want to transfer to
- Click transfer. Nothing will probably happen here.
- Completely log out of the game
- Log in to the server you were trying to transfer TO
- Download character.
You own this server, right?

If you already made a new character, it should work. If you recovered your character, you may need to make a new one.

It didnt seem to work, but im not sure if i did it right
I chose transfer, selected the server joined it, then left as soon as i could, and after i joined i spawned in as one of the characters that i created yesterday
also it asked if it should override the character that i have on the gen2 server, i pressed yes, i dont know if thats the problem or not

The only other thing that can be is if you changed your upload timers.

i log into extinction server (hosted on gportal), go to a terminal, transfer, i choose the gen2 server (hosted on my other pc), i load in, the game sometimes asks if it should override the existing character that i have on the server or not, i press yes (maybe the issue, not sure, at this point anything can be an issue), and thats all
