It's quite possible that there are still issues going on in the EU region. It's been a bit messy. In and out.

You probably should submit a ticket with GPortal support if you can't get it working in about an hour or so.

Sometimes, mods become an issue if something needs to be updated. So, you can't always go by the fact you used them before.
