Basically title. Just bought a server for Valheim but when I use the IP and port to connect I get a failed to connect in valheim. Server is running

Same issue unfortunately. Originally we were playing on Xbox one, but then we switched to PC for performance improvements (just me and 1 friend). I think if we logged into steam and played it would be fine, but I cba purchasing the game again for $20 through steam, when its free through gamepass. I think I will try to go through microsoft on their website. Do you have a link or reference for a signup for valheim servers by chance?

If it is fully crossplay with playstation, get a playstation server. Not xbox.

Yes i did. I first had to enable cross play, then I had to change the password to something with 6 or more characters. Lastly I restarted the server and loaded the world using port 32200. Thanks for your help Ivy
