Currently working on fine tuning a conan exiles server. Was wondering if running a server repair, will delete any game saves.
Just want to fix a little meter error, I think i may have created it from too many restarts. wanting to run a repair, but i don't want to lose any character progression.
is it generally safe to run repair?

Thank you! I have also disabled structure damage and PVP on my server. But I have encountered a castle off sorts that says "Nimbolt's Legion" and it is a castle of NPCs.
I fear that this is not raidable without structure damage? is there any keys to get inside?
Alternatively, is there a way to enable structure damage to npc structures only? what would that setting be named in the Gportal config?
I want to be able to keep PVE players from damaging each other's base though still. would not be fun to have players destroying each others bases, while PVP itself is disabled.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't think so. I think it's an all or nothing thing. Let me see what I find.

I don't think npc buildings can be damaged at all. Ever.
It's been a really long time since I've played. All places like that should have keys to get in. lol

it's this "raid" right here. they use trebuchets to open the door, and some seige weapons.

well i have a private modded server where i have disabled PVP and structural damage.

i'm thinking maybe i just need to disable PVP alone. and leave structural damage enabled. hopeing that pvp disable will keep player structures from being damaged.

If it's a pve server, you don't have to change structure damage because, by default on pve, you can't destroy player made structures.

Yes this should do it.
Although, I'm not sure if structural damage being changed on a pve server does anything at all even on npc structures.

That's a great move by them to put in a raidable structure on pve! I love that.

we've tried just attacking the doors. maybe we need a trebuchet like the video

I saw a blip somewhere that they reduced damage from melee weapons. But, you can do some small amount of damage with star metal weapons and above.
So it might be that your weapons wouldn't work anyways.
Spawn in a better melee and see. Or a trebuchet or actually just some jars and see if that would work.
Explosive jars would work to cause some damage.
