I would go to another hoster, honestly - the problem is I cant even access my server to get my files
and support just says "its an emergency maintenance" that was supposed to last minutes, not days - so I'm not confident that this is being fixed anytime soon

It could be something serious and difficult
It's hard to tell sometimes. Or it could be negligence.

probably their infrastructure couldnt handle it, so they sold more capacity than they have
and keep selling, even though it doesnt even work
