I don't think it's a seed issue... As the game should be able to load proc gen worlds fairly easily. It's just grabbing a URL. Pretty sure it's to do with too many entities and a overdraw on the server gportal side. They can't keep up with our demand

I’ve notice that if I make changes it’s best to turn off the rust server - not restart just make it go offline . Make changes saves etc and then wait for that to finish

When it’s trying to come up and hands just restart the server and be patient - it’s a web interface sending a command to server, it takes time to get a respond back with the load they are under

As someone who got their server up 2 times in the last 12 hours my honest advice to everyone is

Stop trying.
Even if you do manage to get it to work after 30 reboots & messing with stuff we have no idea what it does or if it works or not
Even then if you do get it to work it works for an hour or two and then crashes and back to square one.
Wait till servers r fully operational & their costumer service starts to actually fix things.

Your console is connected - your using a web interface console to remotely send commands to your server

So if your server came online to the console your console says connected

Remember that it’s best to take your rust server offline , do a full wipe leave it offline configure everything while offline. Be patient. If it times out refresh the page. Make sure what you did saved if not save it again. Reinstall all game files. Once that’s done turn it on. Be patient.

I recommend setting up your daily reboots and performing any changes after your reboot completes. Since my AI aren’t attacking and players are playing. I sent a global message letting them know the server was rebooting and this would be fixed.

If you get the Allinformation error: Try deleting your server and create a new one. Multiple people(Me included) fixed it that way.

First time you have to go into your consol and type the command OwnerID your name don't add the * and if you are on psn you have to add "" around your name

try putting yourself as owner in the boot commands but first turn the server off

The server needs to be online

then after that click save and create a backup. once that’s done turn the server back on and let it load up again and once the server starts up and goes through the save commands type the ownerID in commands to see if you’re owner

go to basic settings, the boot commands

server has to be offline in order to save basic settings, the boot command is used every time you boot the server up, i have my ownerID command in that section instead of normal commands
