I already uninstalled and installed it and it didn't solve the problem.

Same bug from a previous major update or so back then. It was fixed but it looks like it came back.

Others have already reported this issue.

Are you able to email [email protected] with your log file and/or save file attached?

TO FIND YOUR SAVE FILE

Your save file should be here: Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata[Steam Friend Code] \2239710\remote\gamesave_0.sav

Open file explorer on your desktop
Search or navigate to Program Files (x86)
Click Steam
Click userdata
[Click your account number/Steam Friend Code if there are multiple account options]
Click 2239710 [this is the application ID for Our Darkest Days]
Click remote
gamesave_0.sav [this is what you want to attach to the email]

If you have multiple Steam accounts on one PC, you will need to know the correct account number that has the save. This is known as the Steam Friend Code. If you're not sure what your code is, click the Steam menu in the top-left corner, go to Settings and then navigate to the Accounts tab. Your friend code will be displayed on the right side of the interface.

TO FIND YOUR LOG FILE

Your log file should be here: %APPDATA%..\LocalLow\PikPok\IntoTheDeadOurDarkestDays\Player.log

If that doesn't work:

Open file explorer on your desktop
Click Local Disk (C:) or equivalent
Click AppData*
Click LocalLow
Click PikPok
Click IntoTheDeadOurDarkestDays
Player or Player.log

The AppData folder is usually hidden so you will need to find the option to show hidden files on your computer. Look for (something like) Options, View and then Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives.
