You can find it by following this route C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\Everwind\Saved\SaveGames
If it was your first save it should be called Slot_0
Or you can press the windows key + R and then paste this " %localappdata%\Everwind\Saved\SaveGames " in the app. It should open the save folder, find the save, compress it, and send it here.
Also, could you tell us what items he had, which recipes he had unlocked and what level was he before his character got reset?

Here you go, try this save! I gave him the items you wrote here, copied the host's recipes and got him to level 16 (he can pick his level up perks back himself)
To apply this properly turn off Steam Cloud, delete the current Slot_0 folder and paste the one I sent. Let me know if that fixes the problem!

Yes, after applying the new save you can turn Steam Clous back on. To turn it off right-click the game in your Steam Library, select Properties, go to the General tab, and toggle off Cloud Synchronization.
