I’ll be honest, I don’t understand it. Can someone help me?

How would block rewards use this systeM?

#

I'm guessing what this is for is to track the distribution of all the tokens from a proposal that is won?

#

100% of the algoleague bot right now is personal funds and has nothing to do with foundation funds

i read it multiple times and still dont know what think about it, kinda confused. dont really have a question but some random thoughts

"the thing is the rewards that are mentioned in the document are given out by people working at the foundation but they earned it and arent really part of an allocation

the micro rewards thing could be a nice way for people to earn rewards but it sound like a lot of work for someone and this someone could be the foundation in the end"

Seems like maybe a solution without a problem

I'm not sure about that. I think distributions are a bit of a black box.

#

I just don't understand if that is what this is trying to fix or how it is fixed.

#

I think asastats users a similar feature but I don't know how.

I guess the document needs a serious rewriting.

For example a governance meeting, right now we don't know (as we don't care tbh) how much they get for a participation in a meeting. With this system a GitHub issue is created before every meeting and after it finishes, a list with participants and related rewards is created for them. Finally, at the end of cycle (a week or a month) those rewards are allocated. At the same time, a transparency report is created too.

#

Person who created the issue is rewarded too.

#

So the main question is: does Voi Network need or want such a transparent and fully covered contribution rewarding?

# fleet ocean people could know if they read the proposal about committee rewards but maybe a ...

Yep, every system involving rewards here has got a place where someone who is interested can look - Voi Network is indeed an open and transparent community.

This proposal brings a sort of common place for all the rewards and it brings a possibility that every contribution is rewarded, not just from the official proposals or the official tasks (like meetings).

A typing error in the official website or documents are there to stay for good because nobody is interested in fixing them. As everything here is open-source, those kind of errors with this proposal could be resolved almost automatically - Voi officials would just need to power up the script at the end of the rewards cycle.

The main goals of this proposal are to make community more involved and to ease the pressure on the Voi officials.

Which voi official will be responsible for the github?

What errors are not being corrected?

To give Ipaleka insight why I voted no - it wasnt really clear to me the proposal. Im assuming its for transparency reports, but 42m for a short test period just seems way overkill. Id be happy to see a written report at the end of testnet period that summarized token distributions but thatd be a one time report and probably a fraction of the request. Mainnet id love to see reports on a consistent basis and maybe its something we could revisit then when we have a more clear picture on things.

I do have interest in the proposal though

Simply this Testnet phase would be used to establish the system that will allow:

#

Define Success
Every Voi transaction coming from the official accounts is processed this way - simple as that!

#

Regarding 42M, a lot of work is implied for three mentioned people in the following months, and also the related script needs updating and improving (4th person). By skimming the other proposals - and looking just at the work included, not just the benefits of bringing the brands to Voi - 42M is imo justified.

#

Tho if the amount of 42M is the key reason, I'm ready to decrease that amount.

This proposal did not pass y:5, n:7. Sounds like it is bring updated based on feedback. you can ping or let me know here when the proposal is ready to be resubmitted for another 3 day community review and committee vote.

Thanks for the updates ipaleka. I’d like to see the proposal again submitted maybe with some of the additional changes, I’ll take another thought as well with your added insight
