# elfin vector I have 500 credits but when I try to use it, it say it’s insufficient.

Credits are consumed per API request, not per token. Also, the model you picked may cost more than you expect.

For example:

  • deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-V3.2 = 8 credits/request on Free
  • openai/gpt-oss-120b = not available on lower plans
  • pkrd/cosmosrp-3.5 = 2 credits/request on Basic, 1 on Starter

Make sure:

  1. You’re using a supported model ID
  2. Your API key is valid and included in every request
  3. Your plan has enough credits for that specific model

If you want, use the models page: https://pawan.krd/models

I’m using Deepseek and I’m using the right key. It’s the only key I have. I have 500 credits.

this means you made a new account to get more credits

I linked my discord and I only made another account because I kept getting the concurrent error but I fixed it.

so which one is yours?

I deleted that account the minute I fixed my initial issue. The 500 was from the account I have but now it’s showing 2 credits. Maybe I just used them all up on my feed messages….
