The error "You have already used an API key on this IP address (241.161.205.185)" means another API key has already been activated on your current IP address. For free API users, you cannot use more than one API key per IP address.

Why This Happens:

  • If you used another account on the same internet connection, or
  • If you are using a service/website (like certain reverse proxies or public bots) that sends all requests from a shared server IP address, you'll see this error.

What You Can Do:

  1. Personal Device:

    • Make sure you are not trying to use multiple accounts/keys on the same network.
    • If you previously used a key with this IP, only use that key (or wait for 24 hours for the IP to unlock).

  2. Shared IP/Proxy:

    • If you’re using a website that sends API requests from their own server IP (not your local device), this error will occur for all users sharing that IP.
    • Try switching to a different website that sends requests from your device's IP, such as VenusChatAI, JanitorAI (with "Use Local Requests" enabled), ChubAI, etc.

The error happens when you have done of of these things:

  • having 2 seperate account here
  • using a VPN sometimes causes it
  • having made the key on a different Wifi Router or Mobile data
  • Someone else in the house having made a key already

The error you sent is the multiple keys to an IP

I wouldnt recommend using mobile data as its a shared ip to whoever is near that cell tower
