As for the problem, you cant do anything about it. The free model of Cosmos is down due to the servers being down, due to lack of funding, which Pawan is trying to fix and put back up. For now, you'll have only to be a supporter, which is to be part of the patreon for as low as $5. You'll have access to both Cosmos Pro and 2.1 that way. Only supporters have access to Cosmos as of now.
If you do become a supporter member for the patreon, you'll also have to connect your discord to the patreon, which can be done in the settings or "more" tab in the patreon. Then in discord, use the #bot to create your own key, and go from there.
