Hello, I am new here and heard about the Cosmos RP model, and after looking around for a few weeks, I finally come around here. I need help with how to set up Cosmos RP and whatever model is best for chatting and roleplaying and the like. Unfortunately, as dumb as I am, I don't know how to set it up or what to do to make it work. To put it simply...I need help with setting it up from scratch. I do know there is a patreon, but I need help with getting to that too, so I can support that and be able to have more access to Cosmos entirely. I'm really looking forward to this, and I'm really hoping to get the help I need to use Cosmos on Chub, Janitor, and others if possible (I know those two sights could work, but they don't work for me despite tutorials and attempts following exactly everything to get it.). I'm pretty much over it with sites' models as they quickly forget context, change up the story or scenario, or are just outright horrible. Now that I'm here...I'm looking forward to see how amazing Cosmos can be, considering all the hype about it from everywhere, and it being implemented on multiple sites as well.

After you get the supporter role go to https://discord.com/channels/1055397662976905229/1064807234825113621 and run /key copy your key and make sure its only the raw key, for example "pk-qnqDANcwlwWTVeQXtHrIgIEmZWmfmLHWZoFqRfvfzSyzTIPN" then for chub, go to secrets and put the api key in the api key slot, and use the pro url

its responding now but in very small responses. Im not sure if its just because the temperature is over 1, or if its making it think its just openai gpt-4. I apologize, I do not really know this kind of stuff, but Im eager to learn and understand.

Also, I learned why cosmos isnt working on Janitor ai. Its down temporarily, possible financial issues within the servers so that could be why they shut them down for now. Or something like that along the lines.

CosmosRP is our model and is provided by us. It doesn't matter what website you're using, it will be the same. As long as you're a supporter, you can use Janitor AI or any other website, but free users will have to wait until we can run the servers again.

The thing is...it would still give me network errors. I would try again with different keys, hell even with different models, but it always comes back as Network error, never moving past that.

Only for Janitor ai and Venus ai that is. Venus it would say the api isnt correct even though I would put it in exactly how it should be. But then again...Im new here, so I may just be dumb as I first said when I made this post

It's an issue with Janitor AI. When you put in the API URL and the key, you have to refresh the page before checking it or using it, or you keep getting a network error.

if it says "API key is not correct" it means you have to double check the key you put into the key field, many of the members copy a whitespace with the key which makes it incorrect

if it says incorrect endpoint it means the URL you entered is incorrect you have to use proper URL per website/client you're using

We mentioned that many times, we don't recommend using any type of jailbreak, instructions, or custom prompts with our models, especially CosmosRP.
put a single whitespace in those fields.

if you have any issues, you can try both model URLs (the normal and the instructed one) and see which one works best for you
