Right now I'm trying to figure out what's the correct settings and what API to use. The current API I'm currently using is the one that janitor AI gives that actually allows me to talk to the AI.

So, with janitors model, we don't recommend it (one, its considered advertising to continue further talk on it and is against the rules, and we arent janitor, so we dont typically help with problems caused by their model)

that being said, cosmos, a model made by Pawan, is by far the best, free api rp model (despite what people in janitor will say. there is some unspoken hatred caused by their team, so people will tell you not to use it)

i will say, cosmosrp works best at 1.2 temp (but you can adjust it between 0.6 and 1.5, 1.2 is usually just the sweet spot).

i do 600 plus tokens

and your context size will be set at 15300. Context size is important to set first after you set up the api. It'll prevent any errors from coming up if you do so, and you will typically never have to adjust it when you start rping. it should be the one stationary thing out of the 3 sliders

Cosmosrp 16k just doesnt require it though it can fix a few vpn/ip issues

Your key only goes into the API Key section. from the pk- to the ending letter. no spaces or any `

custom prompts are jailbreaks, or an extra prompt to make the model act a certain way, we dont recommend it for cosmos, but you can still use one.

Phone and I got fingers that are thin but not to a point that it's pencil thin so it keeps putting me at 15103 when I'm trying to get it at 15000

The full model is 16384, double the context, double what janitor takes. I could be wrong (something i heard a while ago), but better safe than sorry. It takes around 75 back and forth messages to get it to 16k anyway

Presumably, but i don't rp with the same bot enough to get that far. I think i keep mine at an even 32k, and since I haven't reached the context size... 🤷 i do typically suggest 31k for Pro too

Try increasing your tokens more. If it continues, and you like the message, you can edit it out and cosmos should understand (it could take a bit, but its pretty good at following previous messages)

There's a difference actually playing the character or making a AUOC of what character you like... Basically it's a alternate universe original character... Basically it's like sans.. but then someone had the bright idea to make different alternate universes of what possibilities funny skeleton man can come out as...

I only make OCs in general, and I don't tend to rp with many game characters and such (the one i do rp with, I've never played the game for and eventually will). So I can't have the problem of them not being lore accurate because they technically will always be unless they aren't wha the creator wanted

Issues with the website have to be brought up with website support directly, we are unable to see how/why you were blocked.

Most likely it's an issue or error with janitor that their staff is investigating, since it seems many are having the same thing
