So it's just token, traffic and speed stuff? Is there any significant difference in the responses? I've never noticed any, even while switching back and forth.

Yes, the normal rp one has very good quality if replies while the light one just has good ones. Sometimes the quality in responses are different for each version of it sometimes light is better in that one response and sometimes not. So i can't really say for sure but normal pai should have better responses than the light one.
