1v1 custom match just puts you in a 1v1 on the regular pitch

not sure what the issue is or if thats on purpose, thought the intention of the custom 1v1 selection was to play the new game mode in customs

If I understood correctly, you selected one game mode, but a different one started instead.
Could you please briefly write down the steps of what happened so we can better understand and reproduce the issue more easily?

I found a fix that works for me, its to set "max spectators" to 0.
Maybe that will help you with finding out whats causing this
