#Keeper needs better tackling

Imagine a situation where the attacker is very close and dribbling. If, in the future, defenders get nerfed and dribblers get buffed, the goalkeeper would become almost helpless in close 1v1 situations.

To balance this, I would recommend adding a real-life inspired mechanic for goalkeepers: a quick foot block or poke, similar to how keepers stick out a leg in close-range duels. It would work like a tackle specifically for goalkeepers.

The current slide is too slow and often useless in these situations. A fast foot block would significantly buff the goalkeeper in close 1v1s without making shooting or dribbling useless, keeping the overall balance intact.

The solution used to be diving at the ball. But a troll at the Sloclap dev team decided to add the slow bellyflops

I dont use tackle anymore after the game showed me that the ball got through me a lot of times or the tracking being completely useless, I run to the left, GK slide to the right, like wtf is this logic
I am also very surprised of how no one talks about the GK tackle so trashy

It's literally a coin flip whether you get the ball or not

I still won't use it 'till its reworked because my god the logic of this tackle is chaotic (like a lot of game logic you'd say and it's true)

#

Ball goin through my entire body when tackling ? Okay I'm done with this 😂

I think they need to increase the speed and hitbox for it. It is literally useless as it is now

Yes, at least that, and slightly rework the tracking to stop GK from drifting to another world

I didn't even know it was an issue

Damn I assure you it happened to me too much lol
Happened to some friends too
It's pretty much like when diving in a direction but GK goes to the opposite for no reason

#

I even had a jump started and then GK did ANOTHER jump in the opposite direction

And to be clear, I have perfect connection, fiber of 2GB and 20 ping
