Good morning,
I'm experiencing an issue that has been persisting since the latest update of the game Rematch, which I downloaded from Steam.

Here are the problems: every time I launch the game, all the controls are reset, and I can't move. I tried setting them manually through the options menu. I found the controls section, but it was completely empty. When I attempted to assign keys on my keyboard, the first few wouldn’t register and remained blank. Also, when I selected the "MOVEMENT" option (where you set the WASD keys), the game crashed.

I’m sorry to insist, but I’ve tried everything to fix this and I really don’t know what else to do. I recently purchased the game along with the season pass (which I haven’t finished yet, especially since you recently added 5 new items that cost around 140 points), but I’m currently unable to play.

I’ve become really passionate about this game – I even reached Elite rank – but this situation is becoming unmanageable. I’m counting on you and hope to receive a response soon.

Dear Support Team,

Thank you for your response and your time. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to play for the past 5 days due to an ongoing issue, and from what I understand, the season pass will reset in one day.

I would like to kindly request compensation for the last 3 items in the pass, as I was unable to unlock them because of this problem. You can see the specific items in the attached screenshot.

I believe it’s fair to ask for support in this situation — I purchased the Elite Edition of the game, have invested both time and money, and yet I’ve been unable to access and enjoy the content I paid for.

Subject: Help Request – Risk of Losing Season 0 Items Due to Known Bug and Missed Days

Hi REMATCH Team,

I hope you're doing well! I’m writing to report a situation that might prevent me from completing my Season 0 rewards, and I’d really appreciate your help.

I know that the keyboard movement bug — which causes the game to crash — is a known issue, and I understand you're working hard to fix it. Unfortunately, this bug has caused a bigger problem for me: I really care about collecting everything from Season 0, but I’m now at risk of missing some of the recently released items.

Over the last 7 days, I haven’t been able to play for 5 of them, mostly because of this bug. Now, with only a day or two left before the new season starts, I don’t think I’ll be able to earn the 140 points needed to unlock the remaining items — and that’s really frustrating, especially considering the issue was out of my control.

So I kindly ask if you could help me in one of the following ways:

Could you possibly grant me the missing items, or the points required to unlock them?

Or maybe extend their availability slightly into the new season?

Or if there’s any other solution, I’d be very happy to follow it.

I truly enjoy your game and always look forward to what’s next — I just hope I won’t miss out on important rewards from Season 0 due to something I couldn’t fix myself.

Subject: Follow-Up – Nearly 2 Months Unable to Play, Lost Season 0, and Season 1 Is Now Almost Over

Hi REMATCH Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing once again because it has now been almost two months since I first reported the keyboard movement crash bug, and unfortunately I still cannot play the game properly. The issue continues to occur every single time I try to move using the keyboard, causing the game to crash and preventing me from progressing in any way.

Since I first encountered the bug, I have tried absolutely everything possible on my end: reinstalling the game, updating my system, verifying files, adjusting every setting, and patiently waiting through multiple updates. However, the situation has never improved, and the game remains unplayable for me.

Because of this ongoing issue, I have already missed the chance to complete Season 0, even though I was genuinely committed to collecting all of its rewards. And now, Season 1 is almost over, yet I still haven’t been able to participate at all. I haven’t been able to complete challenges, earn points, or enjoy any of the new content. Watching almost an entire second season pass by while I am unable to play is extremely discouraging — especially because the problem is completely outside my control.

This situation has gone far beyond a temporary inconvenience. At this point, being unable to play for nearly two months means I’m losing access to multiple seasons’ worth of rewards, content, and progression — not because of a mistake or choice on my part, but because of a persistent technical issue that I reported long ago.

For these reasons, I kindly ask for your help in one of the following ways:

Providing a fix, an emergency hotfix, or even a temporary workaround that finally allows me to play again,

Or granting compensation for both Season 0 rewards and the Season 1 progress I’ve been unable to earn as the season is now close to ending,

Or offering any alternative solution that you consider fair, so I don’t continue losing content because of a bug I cannot resolve myself.

I truly enjoy REMATCH, and I have been excited for each new season and update. That’s why it’s very frustrating to feel completely locked out of the game for such an extended period. I am not asking for anything unreasonable — only a fair resolution to offset the significant amount of content I’ve lost due to this persistent issue.

I would be extremely grateful for an update on the status of this bug, or any information about upcoming fixes. Even simply knowing that my case is being reviewed would help after waiting so long without a solution.

Hello. You've been told that the bug you reported was sent over to the developers. You were also told not to ping moderators because we do not handle game development. We understand your frustration but we recommend filling out a bug report form and regarding any personal issues for the season 0 rewards, sending an email to rematch-support@sloclap.com with your user ID and the problem if the issue isn't fixed, but TomTom did forward your report to the developers.

Please do not ping moderators about this situation again, it can be depicted as unnecessary mod pings and will result in a warn. Thanks!
