Dear Dev Team, we’ve reached a point where it’s becoming impossible to host tournaments because of one recurring issue:
**Observers are crashing out of lobbies. **
This is not about playing players crashing sometimes – that happens and is manageable. The problem is that observers simply cannot stay in games during the start.
🔹 We have 14 available observers, and we tried all possible setups.
🔹 Different regions, VPNs, cross-platform settings ON/OFF, multiple hosts – nothing works.
🔹 Even when an observer is hosting, the game still crashes.
🔹 In scrims or partial lobbies, it sometimes works fine. But as soon as we fill a top-tier competitive lobby, it consistently breaks.
Sometimes we’re “lucky” and it goes through after 30–40 minutes of trying, but that’s not sustainable. And let’s not forget: if you crash back to the main menu from a custom, you have to restart the game entirely instead of rejoining quickly. We even stacked 4–5 observers per match – all of them crashed, every time.
The result?
We cannot provide proper broadcast coverage. Without observers, a cast turns into nothing more than a friends lobby stream. With them crashing, there is no stable way to build a professional scene around this game. This is not just an inconvenience – it’s a showstopper for esports growth.
We are forced to choose between:
- Running matches without observers (killing the professional presentation), or
- Taking a break until this is fixed (stalling the scene entirely).
We want to grow this game competitively, but right now the tools are failing us. Please escalate this issue urgently – it’s literally the difference between a casual title and a sustainable esport. We’re ready to provide logs, video proof, and detailed test cases if that helps your engineering team.
