#LAST SHOT bug

LAST SHOT starts when the leading team (score 5-4) has possession, losing team intercepts the ball and kicks it into an open goal. But the match ends before(?) the ball gets to the net / goal gets counted.
According to the recent blog post about Last Shot, the game should end when:

the player in possession kicks the ball, and no other player touches the ball within 2 seconds, and the projected trajectory would not lead to a goal
2 Seconds haven't gone since the shot towards goal was kicked. And the shot was literally going to be a goal. It should've counted so the losing team would've equalized and it would've went into overtime.
Feel like Last Shot should be either removed or adjusted so a comeback here would've happened.

Okay but in that case why did the game end not after the winning team lost possession, not when the losing team got possession, but after I already took the shot. Has the server already decided game's done and my client side still lags 4 seconds behind ?

I would say basically yes. The latest changes to this system added a bit more of a delay between the last touch and the end, although in this case it does seem extreme.

The delay definitely makes it frustrating.

Also pushballs and bounces don't count as "possession", the ball glued to your feet or shooting/passing does.
