#Sloclap2 - us-east has a West Coast shard in it's rotation

There is no physical way one of the clusters in Sloclap2 - us-east is an east coast server. From Maine to Florida I ping < 60ms and East-2 is constantly putting us on 90ms+ shard which correlates more with a west coast server. Please confirm this is in fact an East Coast server, where it's located, and if it is in fact East coast- it's a trash cluster and should be replaced.

It’s the same with us west servers. 90-100 ping most of the time. 20 ping very rarely.

I just posted this on Reddit too, because I am in Florida, and I actually get lower ping on some West coast servers than some Central and East servers.

My ping varies from 40ms to 110ms on east coast. Consistent 70 or 80 on central and then 60-110 on west coast? Has to be an incorrect server location, bad cluster or just poor network routing.

I was thinking about that issue yesterday and I don't think it's a server issue I just think the game puts us in west/central server even if we only select east. My ping on east is either like 35 70 or 90+ and when I tried queing for west it gave me the 90+ ping server and when I tried queing for central it gave me the 70+ ping server. The same thing can also happen if you queue west, it will sometimes give me a 35 ping server which is a east server. So the game is just randomly giving us servers

yeah i wonder if they are just mislabeled or what, it would be nice to know from Sloclap... playing on 90+ ping only makes the desync issues more noticeable

NOTE: These are consistent pings game to game, not spikes- i will consistently net 20ms one entire game, the next 91

The inconsistency with this assessment is on central I constantly ping 40-60ms every game with no crazy variance - as I would expect when connecting to a server in one of the Texas or Chicago hubs. Although at 20ms I have more freedom in combos and timings, I find myself searching for games central as I'd rather get the consistency in gameplay than bi-polar timings every other game.

This is a shame to me as I feel playing in my home region I should consistently see that 20-30ms mark, 50-60 at most

Also having this exact issue on west coast. Have they responded at all? I submitted a big ticket and asked about in the questions channel

They really need some kind of Trello board with known issues or something, people have been posting about the same issues but no one knows if it's actually been looked at
