I have been playing with some US friend, I am located in France and usually on US east cost server I get around 90-100ms of ping.
But for some reasons, on some (not all) US east server, I get 160ms ping which is around what I would expect from a west coast server.
The figures are consistant and hover around the same ish values, no crazy ping spike or anything

That mean that even if you get a certain ping on your speedtest soclap server might be farther away and explain your ping 🙂

It's really doesn't
in pink US East and adjacent
in red US West and adjacent
granted those are not the Sloclap servers but it still shows a pattern that I (from experience) get around 90-110ms usually on East coast server (may it be CS2, Valorant or whatever) and I get ~160ms on West coast servers
