Game mode where 16 teams are seeded, with each match being a knockout round. The tournament kicks off with the Round of 16, followed by the Quarter-finals, then the Semi-finals, culminating in the Final. The final would have an aggregate score, deciding the champion.
With an average match lasting around 7 minutes, the tournament would wrap up in 30 to 40 minutes.
We could have a victory animation that could showcase the winning squad of five players hoisting the trophy, celebrating it

Yes this is absolutely needed and would make Rematch even better than it already is
Heres also my addition to this:
With a tournament mode, it should also be with ranks so you can play against people with your skills.
With this mode, you can also get an exclusive currency, where you can buy special items/win emotes which would give this mode a good reason why you should play it.
If possible, you can also get tournament-maps, matching some real life stadiums from worldcups.
This would make Rematch that much more exciting, with more of a reason to play than just smaller matches (and normal ranked of course, still waiting for different modes with 4v4, 3v3!!)
(Also, yes, I took inspiration from Rocket League's Tournament mode)
