Yep - all custom script for the control and the physics. It works well now but can be a bit buggy in certain conditions, so it still needs work.

Its a working helicopter in reforger now, so in my opinion it's anything but a waste of time

You are correct, but the flight model was the easy part. Getting all the animations, textures, and sounds correct is the hard part.
So we'll use our custom janky flight model at first, then when the devs add a better one we'll switch 🙂
