When you set a layer to "random_one" it picks one of the slots nested in the layer. It is picking either "A_Slot1" or "ASlotDestroy1". The vehicle you want to destroy must be set to object to spawn in the slotdestroy.
Scenario Framework | Task Destroy
I suggest you start fresh, drop the RHS stuff for now and get things working correctly as vanilla then add in the RHS once you have successfully have it working.
the video is under v.1.3. But should apply with1.2.
When the task appears in the lower left corner this indicates a problem with the SF.
Either your setup is wrong, or error in the task.
Thank you,
i will try that but i caused a new issue.
i accedentally deleted my faction manager and setting it back up always causes this issue:
Virtual Machine Exception
Reason: NULL pointer to instance. Variable 'm_FactionManager'
Class: 'SCR_EntityCatalogManagerComponent'
Function: 'GetAllArsenalItems'
Stack trace:
Scripts/Game/EntityCatalog/SCR_EntityCatalogManagerComponent.c:525 Function GetAllArsenalItems
Scripts/Game/GameMode/Loadout/SCR_LoadoutSaveBlackListHolder.c:199 Function Init
Scripts/Game/GameMode/Loadout/SCR_LoadoutSaveBlackListHolder.c:17 Function Init
Scripts/Game/game.c:933 Function OnUpdate
nope. so i did this now as vanilla as possible. i cant get the task finished.
holdup
ok now it works ... hmm....
apparently the FactionManager from RHS is not Compatible with Tasks. I used the FactionManager_Editor.et for this scenario
CampainFactionManager_RHS.et fixed this for me. its also a FactionManager from RHS.
i just dont get the "Campain" Part of this
ok somehow thei still call themselfs USSR and US so actuall i dont know if there is the change to the modern factions
well it is:
so yeah. fixed this
anyways thisone still persists
oh this opens a new problem
