We are a small team and We will be bringing an Alternative WW1 world to Arma Reforger, Project crusader setting is in the year 1914, but a century ago, a group of heretical Templar, open the gates of hell, this spin on history is to bring a different setting from what we usually see on the battlefield, from weapons , gear, terrain and more. We are proud to say that this project will be a lot of fun, and we hope you will enjoy the updates as we make progress with this project

Trench Crusade is a skirmish-scale tabletop miniatures game that will plunge players deep into a horrifying alternate timeline. Hey @rocky barn sorry to bother you, but I think making some alt timeline mods should be for everyone's enjoyment, I get people are making them, I see some wips and stuff, but looking forward to this, sometimes something based on reality with a different spin is enjoyable tho, I don't want to sound rude of course, but everyone has opinions my dude, but hey, lets see how this goes 🙂

Arma Reforger base game is literally an alternate timeline where a Cold War goes hot, the vast majorly of the most popular mods are Rus vs. NATO (which has never happened).

The difference is that it”s just alternate events based in a real setting, whatever this is, is some exaggerated holy war thing with a ww1 aesthetic. All I said was I wish it was normal ww1 and not some romanticized crusades fanfic, but like the guy originally said I should just make my own mod if it matters so much to me. I repeat, I just think it’s silly.

Most soldiers during WW1 still cleaned there guns they wouldnt let there gun stay that dirty

They’re battling the forces of hell keeping their rifles spotless is probably not one of their concerns.

It was because they’d jam constantly if they didn’t they also had time too while waiting in the trenches

We are going for war thorn and well older weapons in long time use, we like clean guns but the map that's planned will make sense why they are a it dirty

Yeah but they clean there guns after each attack/defense otherwise they’d jam

And if you’re in a trench battle and your gun jams you’re cooked

All you need to do to prevent jams is wipe off the bolt if rocks get on it mud doesn’t really matter.

Provided that it’s a bolt action weapon I wouldn’t expect it to jam very much despite conditions

Plus the models just have it on the exterior of the gun from what I have seen

At one point it will be public. But we hope to do some private testing and invite or have am open server to try it out. Get some feedback and go in and fix any issues @scarlet lava
