#periscopes for APCs

Commander's periscope isn't a turret so it won't turn. Not sure how it works, actions to look out the view ports and some cameras maybe?
they might add this functionality
i hope they update the btr to the point where you can turn out, have functioning periscopes, possibly firing ports, and animating the flap at the back moving when in water
They would need to change the model and make the turret separate so I doubt it. The top hatches would be nice to open but it would interfere with the turret gun so its probably not happening either. Enabling the view ports would help alot in first person. I hope they don't go all out on the LAV and leave the BTR like this. Its already sad to compare the hip to the huey.
whats wrong with hip vs huey?
Quality and performance wise. The huey is made well while The hip has borked animations. The huey is faster than the hip which doesn't even make any sense. 🙁
the animations will get polished for sure, but I agree that these aircraft need to maintain real world values
after doing some searching through workbench it looks like RPM wise the huey is spot on accurate to real world, however the MI-8 RPM values are inflated, it should be only 15000 produced at max by each engine. but in saying that i am no aviation expert
so my theory is that these drag values are to blame
here are ingame findings, the huey is pretty much spot on, but as stated above the MI-8 is extremely lackluster. will play with drag values and make MI-8 great again!
