Ik Adam the A10 dev was talking about ages ago working on a dcs style bomb load menu where you could select a payload, but he is really busy, but just for ease of access and testing/training purposes would be nice to have preloaded ones too

enfusion workbench is the tool for arma reforger modding, u make the model and texture it in blender then the hard part is all the enfusion work

Whelp, for the first true plane that I've seen to be able to fly with mouse, I must say, off to a good start. Only issue I've noticed so far is how snappy and sudden it feels at time with control response. I can provide a better response on this at a later date, to late for me now to give a full essay on the matter.
As for any other issues. A slight drifting along the runway during takeoff, though all aircraft I've tested seen to have that issue. Also, no current aircrafts seem to have bombs or AGMs on them when spawning. Probably by design for customizing ones own loadout, but thought I'd say so.
Overall, awesome, and I look forward to playing with this one more often, and will continue to provide feedback/insight when I can

hmm I will definitely look into making the flight model better. but I honestly don't know how you can fly with a mouse lol just use a WASD or better yet. fly with trim by holding alt. ordinance is in GM. there are 3 versions of the aircraft tho. one with a cannon and tgp. and one with only the TGP with the aim 7.
Noted on the loadout bit, I'll be sure to look into it later. As for the mouse bit, I've played War Thunder off and on since it first came out, so mouse and keyboard have been my go to for some time, heh
They work best when combo'd together, as you get stuff like this^

I know you can use the mouse in Arma. but for me it's just not it lol. flying with WASD and using trim for minor adjustments works best. also the aircraft steers to the right on takeoff because you cannot disable NWS. I see a lot of people complaining about it... I've talked to Adam about it and he will add the ability to disable NWS in the future

From my testing on console the 'reset trim' bind just locks the current input. Meaning if I give 50 rudder right and hit the button it will keep being applied. So getting back to a true neutral requires a lot of try and error.
There is one in the works but it’s been kept a secret for a while, but I think it’s just the c130 transport.

On the F-4 phantom does the gunner can lock on to targets if yes. How close do you need to be and is it only aur to air or also ground. We couldnt lock it on an apache last time we try and also not onto ground vehicles

you can see it for yourself if you go to pause > settings > controls > aircraft. should be dpad right if i remember correctly. same as the a10.

same as the A10. just spawn the bombs through gm, walk up to the pylons, and a prompt should appear to attach.
It happens when you get in third person the binding for droping bombs seems to be set on that bind evenif its showing enter as keybind thats what I found out

The large camp in the American faction. You need to go in and edit the layer making it so you can see all the objects/components of the build. After that find the generator and move to root layer.

oh, completely forgot to say here. harrier and f4 have been updated.
harrier: reduced speed and fixed the animations. tweaked flight model. added ducks. (new bombs are wip still sorry.)
phantom: reduced engine sound volume, fixed collider issues with the destroyed mesh, tweaked weapons to hopefully fix the sparrows. (a new system for armaments is being worked on)

(Not sure if this is a known issue) Been trying out the Cessna, the base one works perfectly. While using the armed version the attached rocket pods seem to desync and move into weird positions sometimes even completely vanish. Also had a few comments from players that the plane was too loud to the people on the ground.
the Cessna is lound?? it is very quiet on workbench... also are you using the apache reborn mod? I've been told that it breaks the spacecore rocket pods. won't be an issue in the future as we will completely redo the armament system
nope, I do use WCS helicopters. I have the Cessna, a10 and the volume reduction mod for the a10
hmm might be conflicting with something else then. I will look further into it again... as for the sound. next wave of updates should fix that and other issues too.

There's something weird about them 2. Well, mostly the caravan. They turn left while trying to take off. And when turning the aircraft right, it loses all of its speed. I can't even take off with this glitch/bug
breaks engaged? if so press space bar twice (for console consult settings> controls> airplane) if not, apply right rudder lightly. torque is a real thing. unfortunately without NWS your aircraft will naturally move in the direction the blades are spinning.

yes. bombs on the sukhoi are broken currently so I didn't even bother adding them yet while waiting on a fix
noticed that earlier and also one of my milsim members said that it pulls left on the ground trying to take off il try to get a clip
on jets thatll happen due to the lack of a nose wheel steering toggle. best you can do is try to align your nose wheel to the runway as best you can during taxi.

it's not done done. but it's very close. the Todo list is basically coming up with more loadouts, adding flares and a wiso seat for the guided stuff, and tweak the flight model. rn I'm basically doing cosmetics like lights and fixing some things on the prefab. we're also modeling a better cockpit so it might take a little longer to come out. I feel confident I can finish it before* the end of the year but no promises...
yesterday animations were finished up. today I aim at finishing the core mod. planning on doing some rearming support (probably going to have a dedicated rearming vehicle for aircraft). and new weapons, guided bombs, AGMs and AAMs.

mavericks are in redline core. currently broken so avoid spawning them in in your game (log spam) I just used as a prop for the photo. we will likely have mavericks on the f15 tho. don't know how I'll implement it yet tbh but it will be there.

so I use these plans for my conflict setup but I cannot attach them to vehicle arsenals config without it crashing any tips?
so. something with the a-10 base we use in order to make the vehicle prefab crashes your tools when you try to open them directly. to circumvent this we open the mod .et file in noteblock. sadly this is an a10 issue. we could add it to vehicle arsenal in core tho.

So with just the frog foot and its dependancies with WCS and checking keybinds it refuses to use the gun. Same with the A10 model but I know that’s not your guys anyways but
I'm not apart of the team lol. But my best guess is a recent update with WCS might've broke something with it then. Naomyth can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they will be revisiting the frog foot at some point, so don't lose hope

from what I could gather. wcs 1.0.33 breaks the weapon slot component for wheeled vehicles. until they fix that I'd suggest using either or. also, please do not bug report unless you have tested it on a vanilla game with only the mod in question installed.

both. wcs updated their mod recently and it conflicts with a string in r3dcore. we are working on a fix but without r3d there's not a lot I can do.

fixes: reduced file size. removed some dependencies, sounds, Lod distances, compartments overlap and other small issues.
this update is not anything major yet until r3dcore is fixed. after that weapons and other systems will be updated. thank you for being patient. (notice guns are still broken due to R3dcore issue)

not likely. the mule is now part of the core mod as a mobile arsenal and refill station for aircraft.
few feature updates coming to core. you are now able to request ordinance and aircraft from the mule. right now i have it set to 10000 supplies and rank of colonel. this is plaace holder and feedback is required.
the F4 also received some tweakes and bug fixes today. nothing major but ill be posting it tonight
also have added a temporary weapons fix until then. only the copilot is able to fire but its better than nothing

we have a F4 phantom that is waiting updates. after the f4 gets updated we are going to go back and completely redo and upgrade our older mods. including the AV8b harrier. SU25A (possibly K) A1H skyraider. after these are done we will release the F15E strike eagle as well as some other aircraft.

pip gunner sights? probably only with RHS as an optional addon. other than that, other than the regular gunner sight (similar to how the F18 and F4 functioned). we'll have to wait to see how Arma four does it. to my knowledge there is a reference to Targeting pods in the game code somewhere, so it is very likely to come with A4.

hello. im just here to say, i am aware that redcore has been fixed. the F4 is probablly also somewhat functional however not supported or updated yet. we will try to work on fixing major issues during the week. however i cannot confirm anything. cheers. (the a10 by adam has also been fixed however to use the main cannon make sure wcs armaments is disabled.)

as ive said multiple times. we are very unlikely to make 5th gen fighters. stealth would be almost impossible to model plus the typical BVR engagements that come with 5th gen would be impossible with reforgers network bubble. also we want to finish work on the F4 as of now.

so. theres an issue with R3dcore that messes with wcs weapons. i know a large majority of users use wcs in their game, so im trying to work around this. so there will now be twwo versions of the phantom. one with 12 mk82 500lb bombs and one with 4 aim9s for air to air. will push the update as soon as its finished. should take 20 minutes or so.
honestly i only have around 2-3 ish issues with this. 1. it doesn't get destroyed easily. i crashed it into trees and it bounced off the floor back into the sky. 2. its rough to land but that might just be me. which yes i get it its still pretty early and been awhile since last update
damage model isnt the greatest. as for landing. skill issue. (it is infact a bit hard but you get used to it.) flight model was reset too. it should be very close to the A10. once i have more time ill mess with it more
also lets say for everon how does a team spawn it if they spawn at MOB at bottom of the map?

I will make a manual for this thing... the apu is located on the left, outside of the aircraft. in real life it didn't have an auxiliary power unit. so a external generator was hooked up to it.

yeah will have to make some really clever workaround. I had it before with a transparent smoke texture but it looked funny still. also about napalm. again, we can't really add multiple weapons to one variant due to the conflict issue. but I want to bring napalm back. just need a damage over time and a better jungle jelly particle effect for the explosion.

Just been looking through different objects in the game, and the only thing i can find with some type of blur is the rotors when spinning, its a shame BI have not made heat blur for fires, im sure they have it on dayz

yeah. theres no distortion effect. the rotor blur is just a blury texture. fire is hard to do. very resource intensive and hard to make it look good.
Have you tried using the shockwave effect off explosions? That could work maybe depending how you manipulate it

aim 9s. there are no radar missiles in game yet.
I could. but from testing in multiplayer, the missiles are very hard to dodge without flares. if they were any faster you would barely see them coming and have time to react. it may not be realistic but it is balanced for reforger 10ft view distance... also. the iglas are from wcs. not mine.
update is out. added the AGM-12 bullpup to the air to ground version. it is the first weapon selected. to select the bombs just press the "change firemode" keybind. to guide the bullpups use WASD.

it is compatible with wcs. however there are certain limitations. such as not being able to have multiple weapon types on one vehicle. (atg version works with a workaround thats why you need to change fire mode instead of change weapon.)

yes. the weapons are controllable by the wso. trying to figure out a way to have them be more useful without breaking it tho.
What’s the difference in what you did with the F18? Idk how all the mod stuff works. But it seemed like it would be a simple “copy & paste” almost

wcs + redcore incompatibility issues. weapons don't register properly. I could make the wso a turret seat again. but that would sacrifice many other good things such as the ability to take controls. it's a trade off. as I said. I'm looking into options. but tbh I believe it is in a good spot right now.
Gotcha! Well doing a good job. I’m excited for that F15 that’s slowly cooking. I’m apart of the 75th use to run the Fixed wing side until the mods corrupted everything and it slowly dissolved. We had that F18 in the air wing and it was a good time. But now we all dissolved. But hopefully we can get those planes back and fun again.
yeah fixed wing in reforger is kind of a weird thing I'm ngl. every couple months or so it gets reset due to an Arma update breaking stuff. I just enjoy making plane man 
Maybe it will be more stable when Arma 4 comes you think? Since reforger is just a “test ground”

I turn on the battery, but the message is still gray.

the APU is located on the bottom left side of the aircraft (outside) as the image sugests. (there is no generator cart on the mod as of now)
note that if you're ever having issues with actions. hold the free look button. actions will show their icons even if they are not visible.

not trying to sound rude. but why would it be there if they didn't work...
to select the bombs, press the select fire keybind for wcs. it should say "single" on the bottom left. I should go ahead and make an in game manual for this thing.
it is a workaround. since due to a r3dcore issue. weapons don't register properly when wcs armaments is enabled.

It has to be on a heli pad, I don't think he has added napalm. But normal bombs u can rearm
No pvp server would put it on due to all having helis with wcs armaments
no napalm yet. will probably add it back soon.

you also don't rearm at the helipads... use the mechanical mule that comes with the mod. (other support structures might* work but the mule is the intended way to rearm.)

If the mule ever breakdowns and still don't like using heli pads. You can also use light and heavy vehicles maintenance points.

Could a mechanism be added to the F-4 Phantom to push the bomb downward and prevent it from colliding with the fuselage after release?
Try avoid pushing negative G when dropping the bombs, always pull back on the stick when dropping
I just drop bombs level every drop never a problem haha
they already do. they also have a small 250ms delay on the fuze. bombs are still very buggy on the actual game especially on MP. ill rework the bombs again. but im uncertain on how much that will improve. also the advice above is really good. if youre getting hit by your own bombs, drop them and pull up. also i highly reccomend using higher rview distance mods.
it can be very hard to do precise drops without the collimators working. once i can figure those out ill try to implement a ccip into it.

"I don't know what it does" you mean you cant get a BDA? yeah you rarely will. ask for BDA from ground troops or if solo. do a second fly by, uou could also look in third person OR roll the aircraft and look out the canopy. bda is part of the challenge of doing cas with fixed wing. " it crashes and explodes" also please elaborate on this.
No, it doesn't matter anymore, I think it was a bug of mine that when I threw them the plane hit the bombs and exploded. I separated it in the mod alone and it now works.
@cursive wave I don't know if it would be possible on your aircrafts but the creator of the mh60 dap mod implemented a HUD for his helicopter with the help of the Chinook mod creator, which had a cross hair that moved depending on elevation. I don't know maybe you can use his script to do something for your aircrafts.
F4 didn't have CCIP i think

the p-38 is mine, i cant say whats causing that but ill probably be taking it off the workshop till after 1.5 cause that is for sure gonna break fixed wing aviation again for months on end and im not a coder. If the coding is fixed ill reupload it at a later date.

You just install the a-10 and mobius core and use them together in a modlist and the fix will show
yeah, sorry I should've clarified. the mod works by overriding the A10 catalog config with the fixed prefab. by adding Mobius core, the A10A, and (optionally although recommended for flares, mws and more) WCS armaments to your mod list. you will find the A10 in the GM menu already with the fixes applied. no extra "A10 fix" mod required.

There is an audio glitch with the engine, with the battery APU and engine off the engines audio still keeps playing
it's a known issue. unfortunately it is a redcore issue.
are you using other mods together with this? regardless I do recommended rebinding your keys.
working on reducing mod file size for consoles and tweaking some things after testing in the mods in conflict. damage model for both the A10 and f4 are getting reworked soon as well as some virtual arsenal fixes. this is the new planned A10 arsenal. feedback is welcome.
How will the missiles be controlled?
There seem to be a couple of AGM65 Mavericks in this arsenal but how will they be controlled by pilot
mavericks will be fire and forget. I am still to work on the specifics. but I already have an idea on how.

Maybe do like the gazelle where the pilot seat also has a gunner seat that you can switch between
And in gunner seat you wont be able to control the Aircraft so you switch between the two accordingly

Yep it was just an idea and i said it may be stupid (: tried the gazelle with it but helis will start spinning once you switch seat
And mostly with an aircraft you will be flying in straight line while doing the Targeting
