#General Balancing regarding Conflict features

Entire systems of the game are useless because of oversights regarding one or two other features
Thats unfortunate for the people who wanna play the gamemode in the intended way
Where the Radio Backpack, Arsenal Truck, Constant Logi, Mobile HQ, specialized Kits for various roles, and large battlegroups in transport trucks are the dominant means of victory

Seems all of those are ignored except for the Mobile HQ because of an unintended flaw somewhere else
UAZs being cheaper and less rank than Transport trucks really screws Group cohesion since most people solo drive off in jeeps and waste 100 supplies in the process
Arsenal truck and Ambulances are useless because the Saved Loadouts and Respawning make both meaningless
There being no good suppression mechanic and no real punishment for weight, heavier kits dont affect people as much as they should, and the M249 has become a 200 round assault rifle

And lastly, the radio backpacks gained the functionality to be deployed
The issue is that, when deployed, they despawn after 3 minutes, and they have limited 5 spawns
When that can literally just be ignored entirely by wearing the damn thing

Intriguing to hear, will have to do some testing

Arsenal trucks are the worst idea I have come across, best case you have a drive-able resupply bag with guns and clothes. Worst case? Dress-up station for enemy clothing and radios once I steal it from you.

#

Also I have never been so separated from team with the new teleport system.. We used to ride on the way and hang out, get distracted and maybe die in some spectacular way that would have us either laughing our asses off or seriously reconsidering how careful we are going some places or with some people in the drivers seat.

It just felt so natural and now it's just telling people 'nah I don't need to ride with you from hornbeam, I'm going to teleport solo in 50 seconds to military base levie, see you there if you want' and 80% of people are just not interested or just don't know how it works, even when they find out or already know some people would rather drive and ensure the path is okay for logistics play.(which no longer matters that much with regen or cheap radio tents, even with helis)

#

Radio backpack should also only be spawnable if deployed and within 5m of a supply source like a car or supply point(like attics, garages, supplies dropped on the ground next to it, maybe even add in a supply pack you can deploy next to it so the supplies or w/e doesn't decay if it's not inside a depot, cache, or car)

Half of what you mentioned could be done with a resupply bag and any vehicle with supplies inside it. The only good thing it has going for it right now is backpack radios, and guns(or laws if you're on US). The guns and clothing are something usually arranged at base and saved to loadout at arsenal and loaded on respawn. If MHQ and radio(and maybe bases with not enough supply to buy your loadout) didn't allow loadout respawn per say I would be more inclined to believe it has value but in the current state 🤷‍♂️ maybe only small arms magazines and throwables should come from resupply bags then?

Agreed on the supply bags. Basic ammo maybe costing 1 supply and have a totally supply limit on the bag would be more ideal for it's usage. So if logistics was poorly managed, a base may not be able to supply even basic ammo effectively at base and ammo bags would not be purchasable without having the supply to buy on. Trucks left as they are, needing supply's to generate heavy weapons and gear and vehicle weapons/mortar is cretual in the battlefield. I feel the Teams may be clashing on what it easy, and what is mil sim.

The problem is supply doesn't really hold a team back now, it literally grows on antennas and unless really useful idiot can hang out and build it's just a distraction for the more aggressive players to expand a base or go to a supply depot for a supply run compared to putting energy into attacking. If the not-so-amazing-shots had more incentive to pitch in to help the super aggressive players in other ways(supply or building) then maybe more coordination could happen. Right now it's way too easy to push forward with next to no help, would be nice if supply was equally important as antenna but since supply regens now the antenna has become the single most important part of the base, and too often the only important part of a base with teleporting now.

They changed that yesterday morning, actually

#

Only Main Base and Capture Points regenerate supplies

#

10 every 10 seconds Iirc

long axle
#

No it still grows on trees that way lol I think only MOB should have regen

brave ether
#

The new incentive to having well built up bases is it takes like 5 times longer to cap a base with services on it

#

Luckily its not as bad as it was last week

#

They increased the cost of vehicles and made the Heavy depot Private again

#

I wonder what the next update in about 8 hours is going to bring

Yeah better but still supplies should be physically brought up now that they made supply assets, just making them appear out of nowhere just makes me feel like it's just some bs visual instead of actual supply boxes. I have emotional attachment to those high stakes front line deliveries 🥲 there is no attachment to poof, supplies are here woo thanks for nothing antenna genie

#

They clarified

#

If bases are connected by radio, each Regenerating Base (MOB, Military Base Levie, Coastal Chotain, etc) will regenerate 10 supplies + 1 for every single base connected

#

If your faction owns 15 bases and 10 are connected by radio you get 20 supplies every 10 seconds

#

If you have 5 bases and only 1 of them is connected youll have 11 supplies every 10 seconds

#

Means the average endgame your faction will be gaining like 20 supplies every 10 seconds

#

And in a really really good endgame where every single base has an antenna youre looking at nearly 300 a minute

#

Bases like entre deux and provins were ganing supplies yesterday

brave ether
#

After the update I didnt notice that

next moth
#

yep after it.

brave ether
#

Ill have to take a look again before I go to bed

#

It was said in the patch notes they disabled that

#

So it must be a bug

#

I think like I said, it is the main base, victory oints and all the bases they have connection to

brave ether
#

Thats how it was before

#

If thats still how it is now its bugged out

next moth
#

must be then, because I built up provins yesterday, and that ad boy was ticking up.

i agree with everything youve said. i personally think saved loadouts should be removed. you have a basic rifleman kit, and you can unlock better kits each match by ranking up. if you want other equipment, off to a base you go.
