Yes, that is why I started making placeable depoyables, this can all be used for that. Just need to figure out a way to rotate the placement
Does it tie to the way a player is currently looking? That's more than usable, unless you think you can script a component to add the Scroll Wheel as the rotate method, like the building system
It does not tie to the way player is looking rn. So need to either make it like that or rotate option.
Having it so it faces the same direction as player faces would be good enough

Even if it was a dependency I'm sure alot of modders would appreciate this ability and have the ability to create alot of mods with it
Plan is to realease it as a mod. Just need to sit down and figure out the rotation/Angle facing when I get time.

The Machineguns dont need to be rotated, but the fact we can rotate SPGs and ATGMs like this

You gotta make it heavy enough that it takes an entire Alice bag to carry it
That way one man carries the pod, the other carries ammunition to load it
Perfect, this is exactly what we needs now. Being able to actually use a HMG other than placed by game master or in FOB will be so FUN.

You know, you can add a secondary "Weapon" on the "Commanders" seat there, the one that turns it
That way he can zoom in and see exactly what the Gunner sees, despite being a different turret techncially

Good first impressions
Only two bugs
1.) You wont go prone when actually using it, itll put you in a sitting position
2.) Reloading is buggy, doesnt seem to work properly
- this is due to the game engine, it all depends on the surface you are on
- I forgot to apply the component, I’m fixing it now
Component? Which component exactly, I have this same issue with another mod and id love to know how to fix it
I do everything in haste and because it shouldn’t, the component is universalinventory
The M270 MLRS had the same issue for awhile where it sometimes reloaded, sometimes didnt, sometimes took 10 tries
It crashes when loaded up on servers :c

it's damned, my mod broke, now it's all over again

Thats one of the reasons Reforger had a bad launch
They tested everything in the workbench and on local hosted servers
Perhaps its shooting from the Rotate turret?

It might have slight bullet drop up to down, and perhaps you might have rotated it, so that up to down is left to right?
Send Strider a message about it, I can reload it consistently now, but aiming it is a little tricky

yeah, try rotating the pod 90 degrees either way, so the Drop either goes up or down
I think that might have been what it was, where the launcher was so high that Strider had the missile drop down a little to be in line with the Optic just after launch
cause after about 25 meters, the missile resumes its course

You could try editing the Ballistics Config
Or perhaps moving the View camera to the left and aligning the Cursor up with the new place it actually shoots

You could always Duplicate
make a duplicate turret, duplicate weapon, and duplicate config
I changed the aiming reticle and the rocket began to fly differently

Right now I’ll change the reticle so that people can shoot, until I don’t understand how to fix the flight of the rocket

It must be hitting something while it's exiting the tube
It's consistent even when aimed at the sky and everything
The rocket draws a shape like this

No matter how it's aimed, up, down, etc, the rocket will go out of the barrel, then turn left after 10 meters, then Proceed to fly straight forwards again off center of the cursor
if you turn the model 9m113 on its side, then the trajectory of the rocket will be correct
if the 9m113 stands on the tripod at the same angle as on the BMP, then the rocket flies to the left, and then it aligns again
@wide mothI solved the problem, it's the placement of the hands
if you raise the position of your right hand, the rocket will begin to fly to the left
it just works it's weird

How powerful is it? For a two man crew I expect it to knock out a tank in 2-3 shots
Hey is there a portable .50 cal instead of the ATGM?
I mean the ATGM is cool but the .50 cal is cooler

PTRK can be used by 1 person, 1 missile falling into a tank and the tank is destroyed

It is not perfect yet, but it works. I have not been able to figure out how to make it into 2 parts and have it as a backpack item yet.

It is the KPV from BTR. There are no sights and no handles on it, but it works I guess
Probaly not to hard to make it into a DSHK tho, so might do that in the future
All it needs is a way to reliably aim it and it's perfect
