Can you implement the refueling mechanic ahead of time? I dont know how hard that might be to do
In the exp update theyre making it where you can run out of fuel, so jerry cans will be nice - but how will you fill it?

in exp branch the refueling is working wonderfully
hold jerrycan in hand, look at vehicle, if fueltank is not damaged and its not in flames, you can refuel it

1 jerrycan fills about 25% of a jeep gas tank
they are kind of large, still debating size of that. I cant make them 2x2 in the inventory because they need to be a max size of 2x1 for the quickbar assignment
but i can still increase weight and volume it takes in inventory

Why a Jerry Can and not a barrel, to fit the game tradtion of exploding objects that don't explode when shot in real life.

hahah yeah cheesy action movie style, and because i already had a mod with a jerrycan for refueling vehicles in the field, now its dual purpose. I wonder if it will work with someone holding the jerrycan while refueling. Maybe it will have to be an add-on to vehicle repair mod for those not into it.

Yeah I think it’d make sense to separate it out - vehicle repair is a sensible utility mod that can help any player - perhaps you should bundle this with other things like being able to shoot/throw explosives at ammo crates to blow them up spectacularly

hahah yes that is actually already included in the #1127800011615391774 mod, for vehicles. Cant repair a burning vehicle can we? The next version will require you to equip the extinguisher in a quickbar slot and be held in hand while extinguishing (links to dev version in the linked thread you can try now). I just wish I could make a sweet animation for that!
