Small progress update, we've also now got a PRR in game. (need to sort out the barcodes still) we will be looking into pre-programming radio channels but no guarantee on how possible that would be.

thought i would show this off, first few lids to be added. the requested berets will be coming soon though i am currently in the process of tweaking the L85 model as i noticed some issues with it when developing the A" model which is getting close to being ready to be put into game. first release hopefully isn't too far away!

I'm so bad at keeping this up to date! brand spanking new UGL for the A2 variant and a few other additions to the weapon to bring it up to A2 standards (note some textures are a bit funky as its using the A1 textures which have a slightly different UV map)

As far as I understand it the version thats essentially the ugl on an a3 rail that's shown in some pics was never rolled out - where UGL would be needed the heat shield/grenade combo would be fitted to an A3 receiver (but I don't particularly have any examples of that either, either because it doesn’t happen or because there’s no great rush to not just use the a2’s with them)

Sierra Golf Veritas, I load all phoenix mod packs and Veritas together and the L129A1 just doesn't fire any projectile whilst the 129 from Veritas works just fine @north plinth

Ah interesting. I believe this is an issue with saving kits as it's a none-standard attachment point. We may end up looking at replacing the current MLOK system with a RIS one

I don't really think it being MLOCK is the issue, it's the fact there is no rails (which i believe attach into the slots as show in this screenshot from a royal armouries video)

Phoenix Studios presents Sennybridge Military Training Area.

Sennybridge Military Training Area, in Wales is used by the British military to train their soldiers. it is a wild and harsh environment perfect to test the enduramce of those wanting to serve in HM Armed Forces.

This map is loosley based on the real area, with some added fictional areas like Phoenix Barracks and RAF Sennybridge. There is multiple Shooting Ranges across the map including a Fibua village.

There is several trench areas, are presented in various locations from Open Hill to Forestry areas and other interesting places to discover.

The map is 10km x 10km

We hope you enjoy the map.

Sway is the same as base game. I have so far been unable to reduce this. It seems it's mostly noticeable due to the 4x scopes @tulip basin

It's my pleasure to announce something I've been working on for the last couple of months.
It's a new map based on an island in Estonia, I've given it a fictional name. The map is 17.15km x 17.15km and has one large island and several smaller one. The large island has a rough area of 16km x 10km, many villages and towns, military bases.

It is still wip and there are still areas I have plans to build something on, but more than 80% of it is currently playable. I taken a few lesson learned from Sennybridge and improved in this map. The 2D paper map is done correctly and works as it should for land nav purposes.

*Disclaimer If on Console the download is quite slow for the first 25% but gathers pace towards the end just bare with it.

  • Added three new towns/Villages
  • New civilian port
  • QoL altered some stone walls to allow vehicles access to areas around farm at Hosby and Sviby.
  • Fixed floating trees and walls in Sviby.
  • Updated Satmap
  • Altered file layout to attempt to improve download speeds.
  • Updated AI Navmesh's

If you want to discuss this bring it to DMs. We are a small team with busy lives, we don't get around to updating these channels as much as we should maybe, but we do when we get time to. As you can see we are very active and have things awaiting 1.21 release before we bring anything new or updated out.

My Helmand is a fair way away from being ready it's a very large project, I am hoping I will have a decent playable area available for early release maybe before Christmas.

Sangin is central in the map pretty much, and as the map is just under 17x17 there isn't many real world large towns within that 17km square, but there are many villages and farming communities, which will be represented. I have made a smaller version of camp bastion to the west, irl bastion is about 60km southwest of Sangin, I only added it as many ppl want it, it will be developed as I go. I'm off work now over Christmas for 2 weeks so should make some decent progress. The map is currently on the workshop so you are welcome to have a look at what I've done so far.

mannn you shoulda never told me that, now im on the prowl, btw idk if its because the navmesh isnt made yet, but AI will not move according to given paths since i updated it last,it used to be just the defend that was iffy, but now its all of it.

The nav mesh should of improved in the latest update, but something isn't right and I can't figure out why. Vehicles should work as they did on my tools. But for some reason the infantry doesn't want to recognise obstacles

For the satcom, we are running into an issue where it only seems to work (extend the radio range) if we use certain radios but those radios stay locked aka the push to talk is held down instead of a toggle.

Anyone else having this issue or are we missing something?

Strange on both aspects, as I’ve used the SatCom as the US and it’s worked for me same with the packs, I’m not really sure on any extra information, it could very well be due to the different faction but it shouldn’t make a difference, stupid question I know but did you place it inside of HQ range?

When you say within HQ, I'm assuming you mean on a conflict server? I'm on a GM server on the map Anizay if that helps at all.

From my research on this discord, the red 🔐 icon when trying to transmit means you are using an enemy radio. We were able to talk over the radio and get the SATCOM to work but only by double tapping caps lock and changing to the 2nd channel and then repeating that process to get back to the original channel.

Seems like the radios and SATCOM itself do work but this red lock icon is jacking us up.

You have to make sure you have all the semicolons and quotation marks etc. correct. Spacing needs to be correct too.

I assume the people having issues with using the radio’s are using the base game US army faction or something else that has the chicken nugget encryption key like the USAF faction from RHS, and not your faction

Having a weird NPC appear in Sennybridge on my server (and in a singleplayer GM scenario, but he's not interactable in singleplayer GM)

3 Unarmed "loc Invincible" health AI/NPC assets spawn (appear in the asset list) when I fly East of Pen Y Banc Farm, near the Llanfihangel Nant Bran village. moving the camera to them removes all but one of them from the asset list. They (He? singular) appear in a building in the Sennybridge airport, or rather only one does, the rest disappear, and the NPC also disappears from the asset list when I fly north/NE enough but reappears when in get back to the other town and the Airfield.

the guy is just "there" in the SP scenario but doesn't appear in the asset list and can't be inteacted with like he can in the server version (last picture).

Tested with a few other mods and just Sennybridge and all required dependencies, happens regardless so i think this is something baked into the Sennybridge map

Easiest way as whiskey said is to strip back your mods to bite size chunks and try it add them in small batches at a time, and when it does that again try adding the last batch one mod at a time until you find the culprit. Let me know then too, as it helps me. If anyone else has this issue.

Yeah one of the more difficult things here is when these issues happen and once people fix them they don't say what they removed so we can fwd the knowledge 😅

yeah looks like that's gonna be the case. We just did that lmao, had a bunch of crashes the week prior and i spend a week adding mods like 3 at a time to see which ones caused the crashes.

Never figured it out, but there was a fix in the latest patch that fixed crashes related to prefabs, so we think one of #1213128578028408873's placeables was erroring something out.

We were also getting errors related to radar, so it could've been Spacestrider's Shilka (which also got a patch) or the A-10/F-4 jets (which i later learned were broken with the R3D dependency

Im having the server admin remove Simple Autumn first (since that was added late into the testing and is the only thing i can think of that would affect terrains)

If that doesn't fix it, we'll do a full mod test run again and try to figure out which mod is causing the terrain to disappear

Basically I'm having to replace many of the buildings as for some reason many of them have sunken below the map, that's not the only thing. Their orientation has changed to so it's not even just a case of snapping them all to the terrain again. Kiok has also changed alot of the textures for some of the granite rock prefabs, broke the concrete wall generator, changed his hescos, so Camp harrier, wishtan and the other FOB lost all the hesco walls. And much more besides these. So yea will take some time to fix. If you want to try it to see what it looked like before the ATC update. I suggest rolling back ATC to version 1.1.0 and it should be fine at that point.

I can add more stuff that isn't there in real life, but it would take away that feeling of a barron, hard to live on arctic island feel that the Falklands has. The area around GG irl is very open and has fairly undulating hills rather than mountains, and built up areas. There may be the odd dwelling scattered around the place, but no tarmac roads just dirt roads and tracks. Only thing I'm really missing is penguins and Seals.

I won't be totally reinventing the map, it will have the same authentic vibe as before. But with Sangin, it will be reworked and given a new layout, there is now an underground coal mine with railway on the outskirts of the town. Camp Harrier will still be there, and FOB wishtan with some alterations. The PBs will be slightly different too and likely be in different locations to before. It will feel a bit like a new map with some familiar places hopefully.
