It's a great addition and is perfectly useable in its current iteration. Had nothing but great feedback from everyone that has used it.
Same slot of our guys had fun. I was also shot down in my A-10 and was able to utilize the parachute on a eject. It was fun to put all that together. Nobody bitched about the animation cause everyone knows it’s a pain and the fact we have a working chute so

Added GM Persistent Loadouts version 1.0.17
Clearing all saved loadouts is recommended. Loadouts made via previous version will not be loaded anyway, so no point in storing those.

Bacon Loadout Editor 1.0.30 fixes the alice rig thing, hopefully
Nevermind on the harmless I think equipping any item that throws this warning causes the Stalled kick
This maybe results in a server crash when you first save it on the Bacon loadout and then in the vanilla
100% it does
if it loses track of its parent everyone in the RPL bubble is kicked from the server (stalled)

Only time it crashed game for us when a player saves to Bacon Loadout with RHS NVGs attached to helmet. Other than that it was fine on all three of our servers
Remove RHS NVGs and TOR2 Visor helmets from being able to be saved to loadouts and you should be good.

No problem. If you do get player disconnects with internal error (stall), you will need to fix a few RHS prefabs that are causing this disconnection issue. This looks like it is fixed in the RHS dev build though.
Rhs pushed a hotfix so possibly it’ll work now. On my server we just told everyone not to save with nvgs and it worked fine

next time you post a bug also include logs and version of the mod
I fired up a server and was not able to reproduce this in version 1.0.30 I see it does not block the button input only the mouse pointer, could make this easier in the future by actually including repro steps

Whether that's the issue causing the players on my server to crash or not, I am not 100% sure. But had multiple people send me the same screen of their logs with the same issue when they crashed. After removing bacon Loadout editor and the dependent mods, 95% (approx) of players have stopped crashing (according to what some of my community admins have told me). I am not able to jump on and view logs at the moment, so can't pass any further info at this stage.

why would this error need to get logged three times before you crash? doesnt make any sense, if it's critical you crash immediately
I understand that. Just reporting what I can at the moment as I can't do any further troubleshooting at this stage. Maybe someone else has had a similar issue and their info can help pinpoint the problem 🤷
if you are reporting a game breaking issue, at the very minimum:
- tell me what I need to do to reproduce the crash or issue
- include full console.log and crash.log from the client or server depending on which one crashes (unfortunately you can't get logs from Xbox)
I would also suggest never assuming that the mod you remove caused the issue until you have evidence or repro steps. A mod can bring you closer to an issue some other mod might cause. Just because you see an error from my mod before crashing does not automatically mean you crashed because of my mod (look up correlation vs causation)
all issues you report to modders give them various levels of cognitive load, so unless the issue is clear as day and easily reproducible please make sure you include at least the details I posted in my previous message

Yes, but this error will not crash your server. It might be worth investigating what the player was doing, as some modded items will kick people out.

No, I updated all the mods and then tried it and that was the result, after disabling gm fx then it was fixed

I have acquired an xbox series s, loaded the mods from my pin and I am getting zero kicks and zero crashes on either xbox or pc on a server
I have however gained massive amounts of respect for any active Xbox players due to how horrible the mod downloading experience is after sitting there for 15 minutes downloading two scripts and a gun

Hello Bacon, one of my player's was trying to take some magazine's out of their backpack in the bacon loadout editor and crashed. Here is the console log. They were right clicking default magazines out of their belt rather quickly and their game decided to die. It seems to be working fine with them loaded back into the game and doing it slowly with the drag option with regular arsenal.
there are plenty of errors in the game but it does not contain information about a crash, it will say something like "application crashed" at the end of the log if there is a crash, are you sure this log is from the crash?

I had a look at the logs and you are using a lot of mods that were not made fully compatible with 1.2 yet, please make sure that the issue can be reproduced with vanilla + loadout editor before submitting a bug report. Just because your game crashes while being inside the editor does not automatically mean that the editor crashed you.

Probably not easily unless you have modding experience, unless the creator has explicitly stated it is compatible/updated for 1.2 I would advise not running it. One example in your logs of a mod that is not compatible yet is 3RBN or Mattock gear, which contains cursed items that might randomly kick you with a "stalled" reason (or crash? though in my case it was always a kick).
I've spent almost 2 hours testing mods from my pinned message today on Xbox and PC on a server and have not managed to get myself kicked or crash once. Maybe I got lucky.

looks like you are trying to join a server? please disable all mods except m4 and its dependencies and launch a solo session to confirm if the mod works or not

you have an archive of those logs going back a few days by default so it should be no problem to fetch the one from the time the issue occurred

you are talking about a custom scenario which means you are using more mods than just my m4, as stated numerous times please make sure you can reproduce the issue without using any other mods before submitting a bug report
anyway, all the mods in my pinned message were tested by myself on a server using both a pc and an xbox series s and they are confirmed to work on their own

Hi Bacon, I found this issue with the M110 DMR yesterday. The top part of the cope is black, also when zooming in it becomes hard to see anything as it's too bright.

SRDG servers. One hosted by Streamline, one by Bacon. Both have about 70 mods from background server, visuals, audio, to uniforms, gear, weapons, and RHS also. No issues with Bacon Loadout at all.

I don't see anyone talking about it, but the Attachment_Base prefab override in Enfusion Persistence Framework is messed up. That's why the scopes are broken. It messes up the inheritance tree, so RplComponent and stuff is missing. This happens if the only mod besides your mission is EPF.

If you can get your game to crash using ONLY VANILLA + LOADOUT EDITOR then let me know how to reproduce the problem so I can see if I can fix it, otherwise while I made the editor I am not responsible for the content you are viewing inside it if its not in my control (unless I am, but creators of those extra item mods will be able to tell me specifically why, hopefully)

I would be open to remove it if I can leave a notice somewhere inside the editor that says something like "M4 mod not present, you are missing out on weapon customization" in small text somewhere, do you think a small note like that would be worse than having the gun mod? you have to do it in a way that does not infringe on the ND license, but yes
using it as dependency and editing/overriding its files (would infringe, I think)
but you can edit the arsenal layout without using it as dependency, by disabling the GUIDs of the items you want gone, so if you dont respect the author of the mod you can do it this way

I think I gave sr sound mod dev permission to change the sounds of the m4 so you may not need to do it, and the muzzle flashes mod is not necessary because the gun has a flash hider

Hello, I've been getting crashes when testing the mod online (by itself as well). Even if I only save the default kit, loading it from the editor crashes the server.
The mods works fine in singleplayer now however

Ok friends I had some time and I have done the following:
- M4 Block II is reuploaded but removed from arsenals, other people use it as dependency so it will keep those mods from breaking until I can reactivate the M4.
- Bacon Loadout Editor has been reuploaded with the Save/Load feature disabled. It should be perfectly usable.
Note that the rendering out of memory crashes happen anywhere. The M4 just brought you closer to them because it is not setup like all other rifles (my best guess). It can happen in the editor as well. Not something I have control over.

Your crash reason at the end of the console.log is very likely the issue introduced in 1.2. That's my best guess as the log ends with a crash in render stage with no logs leading up to it.
@spice elk your work is very much appreciated by those at TAW!

Many crashs are related to WORLD:updateEntities with the same SymGetSymFromAddr behaviors ( logs are sampled from users in win 11, win 10 and linux proton). Especially when using large arsenal. It may not be a bacon loadout mod issue, but cause crashes after loadout interaction.

Bit of a question and possibly a bug for you Bacon, however, any known reason why when i restarted my server and all the GM Persistent Loadouts are gone? like the folder emptied itself when there was stuff there previously
The mod does not do anything like that so maybe talk to your service provider on why your data isnt persisting

Can confirm Disable FF is working fine, however bad parachute no longer works with the new ragdoll when you exit vehicle feature. Also M249 rails as said above and the M82 dont show in arsenals.
Working fine for exiting helicopters at 10kph or less speed. Wont force a ragdoll anim and able to pull chutes
Only tested at that speed so could have ragdoll or not at slightly higher speeds

for bullet all you need to do is remove the inventory comp (as old ammo used to have that and doenst work no more) and add projectile damage to it , as that one is the new version of adding dmg to the bullet

On our server, Suppressors and Ris are present and no crashes. We got rid of M4 and Loadout editor once you said it, so these mods are away but was hoping, as @broken ridge, that the "leak issue fixed" in the Update log will help for your mods (M4 and Loadout) to come back... 😭 😭 😭 We'll be waiting the necessary time ! it was around the beginning of the month, after the last update, we had crashes and once this mod was out, no more issue. Then we came over here and read what you said, so was waiting since then (pinned message). Since the load/save stuff wasn't working, no reason to keep it. Did i misunderstood something ?

Ohhh, saves are back in the BLE and dependcies remove. Just tested, so far so good.
With just loadout editor and playing a singleplayer arland conflict. Selecting save loadout says it failed but switching tabs and back it's actually there and will load it.. kind of weird bug but it's working so far besides that little hiccup

It's not giving the failed text in the modded multi-player gm conflict server I'm in. So not sure what the failed text issue is I'm getting in the vanilla arland conflict

The update threw one our servers into a crash loop earlier. These crashes were full server crashes. Putting this here for evidence of consistency if anyone can get a log.

Happens when anyone is in the box/BLE with 30 people present in server. Happens typically an hour into initial load in. The crashes are also random and effect the same people, regardless of console or pc.

It should generate within your profiles folder. If it hasn't, it might be a server permission issue in creating the folder.

Are you saying the crashing isn’t related to the error or the boxes aren’t related
if that error causes a crash it will only crash the person where the error happened, because that error is clientside, so it will not crash multiple people at a time
It’s the only error in the group of peoples logs. It’s a onesies and twosies thing then eventually multiple at once. And this is the only error in their logs.
just because you see an error in the log does not mean that error caused a crash?

Anyone having an issue with Bacons Loadout Manager that prevents 2nd weapons. Cant equip anything there, tells me "Failed to add prefab into Substorage"
looks like you are using other mods, disable everything except loadout editor and try again
I turned off GM PERSISTENT LOADOUTS cause that was the only other loadout manager i was running

Since the remix updated. People have to make (or load from loadout editor) a kit and resave using regular save. Then they can respawn with their kit. But everything they rejoin the server. Custom loadout isn't available on spawning until re-saving one

in general the mod is called GM Persistent Loadouts so it is only verified to work within Game Master

Have the owner delete all the saved loadouts from the files. Could be something from a saved loadout before the update that got corrupted or something along those lines

But that's just for the one that you spawn with as custom. No bacons
Doing that seemed to fix respawning with a custom loadout. But it goes back to only default when leaving and rejoining the server

Like bacon said though. It is intended for GM. So guessing something with gramps pve messed it up for some reason evne though its been working until now. and will probably just have to hope remix is updated to change it back.

Save game> Profile. There will be two folders if you use bacons loadout and GM persistent, you can just delete both of them and they should automatically pop back up after a new loadout is saved. Would recommend taking server down before you do this though

to be fair the suppressed m110 is a very quiet rifle, like, quieter than the m4

Hello, I'm Neumann, I'm an administrator for the Modern Conflict Brasil server. I hope you can help me with your MOD RIS ATACHMENTS.
We are experiencing a series of crashes on our Conflict server and we realize that it is an incompatibility with RIS.
It is very likely that the error is on our side, but we have not been able to find out.
As it is a server conflict, we would like the RIS mod to be applied on both sides, Blue and Red, but it is configured to only be injected on the Blue side, correct?
We have a configuration, through EntityCatalog, to define what goes in the arsenal, for both the blue and red teams.
We try to put the RIS items in the red moment by our configuration in the entitycatalog.
The only mod of this nature that we also use is RHS.
But this has caused mass player crashes.
Is there any way we can put the risk on both sides without causing this instability?
I hope we can help each other, the mod is great and we want it on our server and we want to do it the right way.

I checked the log but didn't find anything, the players even sent me their log
this rendering crash will be fixed in one of the upcoming hotfixes, it's not something I can help with since I don't work for bohemia, please remember that just because you see my name in an error log does not automatically mean that this is causing any crashes
If you have players remove all attachments from weapons that you have in, such as suppressors lasers range finders and some scopes, it can mitigate the crashes experienced sadly though if one person in the game has the attachments on the weapons it can also cause crashes for others.
When they remove the attachments if they do it straight into the box so it removes the items if the items are left in the floor it also causes crashes until entities are cleared or they despawn in there own hope that helps

Take the effects from vehicle explosions gun shots crashes vehicles hitting the water helicopter dust ect, and make them placeable
Environment editor
Change the color of light emitted on the world, put color filters over the world EX: Dune with grey sky’s. Or a inferred photography filter but make these editable like the light system
More filters and frames.
Film frames film filters grain scan lines things like that.
Improvements on current system
Make the light source not just a flat png when placing in GM, because it is hard to tell where it is in context with other objects.
Make a circler light source that emits light in all directions
Add a color preview while change the RGB values
Add color presets
(These are my hopes for additional content for this mod but feel free to add @dusk glen @formal swallow
(Ex of inferred photography, And I don’t just mean this a preset it would be amazing to be able to change what light is available on the spectrum and remove certain colors of light from existing. However I don’t know how you would add this)

for now no but if I do it it will probably be available to admins only as I dont want people to be able to mess with players like that

You can do this with a seperate replacer mod btw, then even friendly AI will have your default loadout which is pretty cool
outstanding, I just found out the GM loadout saves items from different factions. So you can mix and match stuff from different arsenals
To be fair normal saves do that too if you have the arsenal box set to no item restrictions. But yes it allows admins to bypass this limitation

Go into BLE and there'll be a save slot with 10 slots available, save a kit. Go into GM and go into "Edit properties" on an AI and at the very bottom you'll see those 10 loadout slots and it'll load them in on the AI

Consuming too, its consuming from the RecsourceComponent attached to the arsenal. Refunds not yet, but possible as you are handling it as an edgecase and your cb still work with my mods

if you can put consumed supplies as a small icon like they do in vanilla arsenal on the bottom right of the slot I think it would be perfect, if you ever release it make sure to put in a note in the mod description that you have permission
the codebase is garbage so it's a good idea to start from scratch using the lessons learned while hacking around things here
yeah the class names are a bit all over the place
it is basically a gun editor that has inventory and gear duct taped into it, very rushed
so I want to stop working on it and put some time into redoing it from scratch later depending on how the upcoming mystery arsenal project comes out (I also have to focus on development of admin tools v2 which is a priority)

yes, the reason for this is rate limits, when I and many other providers run servers in a shared environment their outgoing requests will come from the main IP address of the (hardware) server, and sending directly to discord might slap those IPs with rate limits in a way that one user might be able to prevent other users on the same machine from sending those requests (especially so if those IPs happen to be sending invalid requests due to some kind of configuration issue)
in my server service currently there is a button press configuration to pipe all your admin tools events to your discord webhook of choice, and the service handles grouping and sending webhooks in a way to not trip any rate limits
