once armor comes from the air assault update then ultra marines are possible, then we can do a bolter. Or we can do it now but then you see guardsmen running around with space marine guns. and like obi-wan said that would be massive and crazy

Marine bolter would be. There are regular human sized bolters with smaller caliber too. (look at dark tide and necromunda hired gun) though it's still pretty hefty.
