We most certainly will be careful with it, there will be changes in the future of-course that might make it even look less like Star Wars. I believe right now the only thing that looks somewhat similar to Star Wars is the T-Visor on the helmet. But T-Visors are seen in pretty much a lot of the SCI-FI genre Star Wars or not.

Yes we actually looked at ODST and Phase 1 clones and just made something. The 2 helmets you see in the concept art (depending if the mod survives) will both make its way to the game allowing you to pick.

well the mod is in very early demo phase right now. The bag that comes with the mod is like infinite and you cant put anything on ur chest / legs / body as well as some rigging issues.

Our next milestone is modding the current armour to be customisable more. Adding different types of chest rigs etc and bags for different purposes like a medic bag / ammo bag etc etc and obvs a sci fi long radio.

Our only main issue is we lack coders or people who are familiar with the enfusion engine and can put this stuff in game. We have Artists and Modellers.

All Star Wars mods up to date technically don't have "permission" for them to be up but Disney literally doesn't care about the mods BI is making this fuss solely cuz 1 modder who was a real piece of work ripped assets for a Star Wars mod, and the creators of the Star Wars mod for ARMA 3, I asked them but they've been trying to get the "permission" they needed but Disney hasn't given them a straight answer. I've gotten the same thing from them

Basically the answer I got was "we can't grant you permission" explains why but then says "don't make any commercial use of our property" which would mean the reason for asking permission is for commercial use and not for public use like this

Hello my long awaited friends,
The mod is being remade. With this remake of the mod we will be re-making the armour.
The mod right now currently doesn't contain anything else but just modded armour however with the new rendition of the mod we plan to add the following:

  • A new higher quality armour set
  • BLUEFOR Will have Blue Laser Bolts (No custom sounds yet)
  • REDFOR Will have Red Laser Bolts (No custom sounds yet)
  • INDFOR Will have Yellow Laser Bolts (No custom sounds yet)
  • Energy Shields (Can't shoot out or into them and that is intentional)
  • Energy Shield attachment onto weapon

Custom Factions

BLUEFOR are now being called Republic Enforcers
REDFOR are now being called CIW Confederacy of Independent Worlds
INDFOR are just basic Rebels

The new helmet will have a built in Radio and Torch and maybe night-vision.

There is no ETA's on this as we have just recently got back to working on the project.

Did not try or attempt. We wanted to work on something and its not about Disney saying yes or no.
Disney are ok with mods as long as its not for commission. It was because someone on Arma 3 ripped assets from Battlefront and Disney contacted BI and thats what kicked it off. Someone above had already contacted them and they literally said commission use is off.

So even if Disney said that as long as its not for commission its ok I still think BI wont risk allowing it.

Plus, with out own mod and our story and timeline etc we are not limited to what we make. We can do anything we want as long as its not a direct copy of any other licensed IP. Thats why we created our own idea.
