Is it not possible for him to create an entirely separate arsenal box for the Javelin by maybe adding a separate placeholder faction in order to have a separate arsenal box??? I haven’t played with the mod but to me that seems like a solution that might work but IDK.

I've experienced several client crashes while using javelin.
It is a Russian roulette tho...
The crashes seem to happen when switching zoom (so activating the thermal vision).
This doesn't happen ALWAYS but OFTEN when we try to zoom with it the guy holding the JAVELIN crashes

Now we know why the rocket launchers have been disappearing from the arsenal

It's also their mod that makes your javelin crash... I removed RHS and shot like 30ish rockets... All good

Can anyone help me figure out why the launcher isn't showing up on our deidcated server? I have the ammunition in the box, but cannot find the custom ammo boxes, and the jav operator is not placeable.

No RHS running, though it is downloaded. I read that conflict earlier.

In general? about 47 other mods. Launcher mods would be the maaws and I think better explosives.

Final result. I removed the maaws from the pack and the Jav worked, with NVG and better explosives in the pack with it. PepeShrug

We have around 50 mods on our server and everything started working fine after we removed RHS

So in conclusion, conflicts with NVG, RHS and M3. Not nice
But thanks for pointing that out, I'll have a look asap, but need to focus on some personal stuff

Depends on your target, distance and fire mode.

It's recommended to target something far away, as that's one of its intended purposes.

I shot 4 missiles on my GM server yesterday at a BMP-1 wreck, a T-62 wreck and a live BMP-3: 2-4 missiles failed to detonate on impact with target

The javelin has a tendency to crash my game as well, I don’t know if it’s because I’m looking at modded vehicles but it simply happens randomly, and doesn’t always crash, even if I am shooting at the same vehicle I have crashed looking at before that

Issue is, command given us by BI to change textures of vehicles, seems kinda buggy as it can easily crash game. (texture is changed to vehicles when entering FLIR view).

Is there gonna be a way to turn the thermals off at all when zooming in because it does just seem to crash this is I’m guessing most of the textures for the modded vehicles are the cause of it . But I’ve noticed when I don’t zoom in and use the first sight and lock on all seems to work fine like

@nova pulsar little report for you. After 9.8 the javelin does work. We can’t load into a server just gives scrip errors. The Gustav works but isn’t in the arsenal.

@nova pulsar Your MAAWS character and Javelin Character override each other. If both mods are loaded, only one of them appears.

Dont know if is a know issue but shooting the Javelin on Dedicated server, for the one who shoot looks perfect (don't destroy any vehicle, but the missiles goes well), but for the others the missiles goes like 1-2 m in front and explode (Sometimes kill the operator)

Is it known for this to work fine in single player but not in MP? I just managed to launch and destroy a truck in Singleplayer, with night vision and maaws installed. However, when I tried it on the server last month, there was no jav in the box.

Hey guys, so I've managed to make a mod with a couple of mods as dependencies to bring back the Javie in the blubox as well. But when we try to shoot a missile it doesn't work very well like in single player.
Basically the missile hits the enemy vehicle in my game but doesn't do any damage, instead of this. Me and all my teammates around me get instantly killed by me and my missile. From their view the missile goes boom right in from of us
