Do you plan on making other attachments such as grips and maybe a 203 or 320?

eventually, tho I don't think the grips can be animated

#

but they could do something like reduce recoil, maybe?

I wonder if they do that on aussie m4 block mod

there's no way to just tell the system where the left hand should be and have IK handle it?

#

like from some kind of animation attribute

#

"animation ik pose" hmm

#

but can I override this from attachment level?

Not sure if you can override it or not. I was thinking about duplicating it that way you will still have the normal animation file for the normal poses. I’m pretty ignorant on the subject.

it would be super cool if the weapon just had something like a way to make a point where hands go, and just let ik deal with the arms

#

and that point could be changed from script

#

and then we may not need to make our own poses for rifles

like define hand locations in the weapon instead of the character weapon anim

#

or something

#

at least for resting and firing, anims still take over reloading and stuff

The way it's set up now is via offsets, would be awesome if you could make it pull it from the gun point positions, but that would look weird at the same time if for say a vert grip or whatnot.

Also no, mine isn't animated yet grip wise, that was a to-be-done mod part which I hadn't learnt how to do yet. That said though.. that pose tutorial video will come in VERY handy when I am finally up to that point of the 7th Ranger pack, as they want custom anims, which I will also of course then be able to include in my base block ii and any future gun mods.

I mean the hand rest position point thingymajig could also contain things like hand angles

#

and maybe a choice of like 3 different finger grip configs 😅
