PzkpfzIV is still coming, and did some work on it today. I revamped my work flow to hopefully speed up texturing.
I was also having a problem with the vehicle falling through earth sometimes, but after tweaking the COM and suspension, it seems more stable

The optics need some tweaking

@hollow idol a few things. driving that thing is kinda impossible. Id say using automatic transmission would be best to keep everyone happy. The gun seems great tho. Works perfect. Although the explosion effect causes the game to lag
Okay so here's my feedback hope it helps. Obviously this is a wip and it doesn't have tracks so won't judge that however till tracks work could it possibly have fake tracks so doesn't look so wierd maybe? But anyways once driving it performs fine both on road and off road I'd rather it be automatic personally however this does work fine. I like that the hatches can be opened just a shame can't peak out yet and no drivers optics yet but I'm sure will come in time just means third person is only way to see rn. The gun when fired does indeed lag im sure this is from the explosion effects and the amount of smoke. As for the gun when fires it plays the reload sound without reloading straight after you fire not sure if that's intentional or not and the commander clips out the back of the tank. Also getting out of the tank clipped me inside of it with no way to escape. One other note is it cannot take even one rpg and I know its kinda out of its time period rn but for a sherman to have less armour than a btr is funny to me even half a box of 50 cal rounds kill it
Otherwise as an early proof of concept its pretty good moves fine and shoots alright looking forward to see updates for it in the future
Thanks for the feedback, I'll make some drivability tweaks today, and add an automatic transmission version. I'll leave the manual version for the authenticity based scenarios. I might be able to turn down the particle rate for the explosions as well, but aren't they gratifying π
Thank you for the feedback! I can throw some non animated tracks on there. My first goal was to get the bogies animated correctly, and hopefully get some visibility to BI to help with some tracks π
Also, the gun reload i will fix today as well. Hopefully i can get the character rig working to fix all the clipping bugs, and fix the colliders. Good feedback and i appreciate it! I'll try to get a decent update today.

@hollow idol just some feedback about the update. So the automatic transmission does wonders. Just wondering if that slow speed around 10 km/h is intentional. Second, the main 75 mm gun stopped workin
Still tweaking the gearing, but the gun is working for me. The M4 should have a top speed of about 36kph, so it is intentionally slow, but it should be more linear. I should have an update today adding the M1919, and I'll try to fix the drivability. I'm having a hard time with inertia for some reason.
The m1919 as well daym that's wicked I just got home so looking forward to testing the new update already
Okay so now I've gotten to test it the auto version moves no faster than a crawl and I mean someone prone crawling speed idk why the manual versions still works okay though. The new optic for the gun is nice love that it's accurate now and the addition of the coax is nice the shots from the main gun also arnt as laggy which is nice I have noticed however the smoke launchers on the turret arnt attached so they don't move with the turret
Glad to hear the lag is fixed, I think im going to get rid of the granny gear in the automatic version because the transition slope is too much. In reality you would only use 1st in special conditions like traversing difficult terrain, starting on hills, towing, etc.
I also made basic ammo crates for rearming i hope to get in the next update, but I'll release a hotfix version addressing the automatic transmission
Sounds good π I'd maybe also add like a (A) and (M) to the name maybe in the spawn list so there is a way to tell the auto and manual versions apart
Updooting. Shifting is still wonky, not sure what is needed to fix it, but if anyone can find documentation on how the shifting variables affect the shifting, it would help me a lot
Gun works for me after restarting. Although the speed was more like 4 km/h than 10
