(sorry if this isn't the right spot for this question) Anyone have any ideas on how to get a mod pack to load on a dedicated server? I've done mods before and haven't had too many issues, but one of the players in my group wants to try this highly rated vietnam pack. I pulled it and edited the json and all. During debug it tries to load the MissionHeader but fails there. It's fairly highly rated so I can't imagine it's been pulled from the workshop or something. Just didn't know if I was missing a step as I haven't modded a whole lot of maps (Usually I just use one of the default scenarioIDs.)

there's some strange network flood issue with the mp atm, i hosted a server and some people managed to join successfully and play, while some other clients ended up in some broken state where they could join, but then immediately after spawning flooded the network, desynced and got booted

There's a bug with servers at the moment where it will report fake number of players on a server and the server doesn't accept any new connections.

Server could be empty but the server browser could say 64/64 players. When you try to connect, in your client logs, it says the connection timed out to the IP address of the server. On the server side, it doesn't show any sign of that connection.

Some people can play without problems, some don't. So I think there has to be some parametre on the user end too that has to do with the issues. The latest method worked for me and a friend of mine (he got dc after 40 minutes, but was able to connect to 64p servers unlike before).

I have setup a Linux and a Windows DS with disabled BattlEye in the config for testing, but was not able to connect to both. I always get an error during the connect phase. Client and Server log were not showing why it was happening.
Now I found out, that the cause is that BattlEye is not installed. I installed it now on the client and the connection works.
I never used BattlEye, because I play with some friends on our own DS only and there was not the need to install it.
The only hint in the client log is:

Currently yes, that's what I have found out. If it is not installed on your client, you will get an error during the connection phase to the DS and kicked from it, also if BattleEye is set to false in the DS config.
But at least you can block BattleEye in the outgoing rules of the Windows Firewall to prevent sending data.
