The 'tank busting' ability of the GAU-8 is largely exaggerated, more modern tanks past T-55 Ish will have a good chance of not dying to it. ATGMs would be a much better choice for taking out armour

well, your aim is a bit yaw heavy so id say you landed shots but not enough of them. If youre flying with M&K, instead of yawing to line up side to side, use a little roll and pitch with your mouse instead. allows for more precise aiming, though isnt as quick
