Suggestions: Items/Furniture/Decor

This is a group effort post of all our ideas for items we would like to see in game. per requested by @odd seal lol

Nature items. Wood benches and stools. Wooden lamp posts. Large flower planters that fill a whole tile. Mushrooms, mushroom lamps, mushroom stools.

Going to throw a few suggestions out for various decoration / terraforming tool ideas.

• Flower Beds, Terraforming full tile style to fit nicely in gaps between paths
• Themed decorations, for example, Cauldrons, pumpkins and spider webs for halloween/spooky themed and so on.
• Kazumi Ride to match with the Groffle Ride.
• Dragons/Fairies, basically anything mythical creature in various forms like statues, plushies, rides, ect.
• Parking spot, terraforming tool, like roads, but for parking spaces.
• Swimming pool, so our townies can take a swim on those hot days.

Definite furniture themes/series. Such as making a Sci-fi/space set, street lamp and moon rock decorations to make a section of the town for all the alien residents to feel at home 👽

Childlike items. Balloons. Playground items, sandbox, slide. Toybox, stuffed animals, stack of books, picnic blanket, painting set, gumball machine. chalk drawings.

"activity" items like cozy areas to knit, paint, etc., board game and chess tables/setups

books, libraries, cozy reading nooks!

gardening decor items like planter pots, rakes, soil bags, etc.

sunflowers! specifically sunflowers please. and in general, tall flowers 😄

(i used to grow some plants in an old, gutted gamecube! as an idea)

GIANT MUSHROOMS! and giant trees and flowers in general. i just love making my characters feel like they're teeny tiny in the world

Standees to pose for photos with! Maybe using the high-five interaction can lure another townie into posing with you. The Standee picture could be a Town Co worker and the Mayor in rope, like the trailer 😂

I love the idea of the cutout hole props... can't believe we hadn't considered that already!

We do have a number of fun new additions in the latest playtest, though our focus was moreso on housing and shops (these will hopefully feel familiar, but they all got completely overhauled for gameplay purposes 😄 )

My hope is we'll have a bit more focus for fun new additions next up, so please do keep the suggestions coming!

I would really love some yard items

Fences, lawn gnomes, bird baths, flamingo, bench swing, patio furniture, ect

I would also like props of some of the items we forage from. Like rocks and tree stumps.

I was just curious if you all had any ideas about season town decorations (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)? I figured they could be in the form of new downloads on the phone new construction packages in the EGO Builder - I think that’s the name 😆)! I think that would be really cool.

More bold paths be neat, atm there very basic..
like glow paths, rainbow, all the colors be neat.

Hedges & fences that you can get infinite (atm it's costly to fence up an area..)

Swings & slides & metal spin round things that we can use.
More kinds of themed homes

Could this be added as a secondary recipe / function to the Garbage Recycler? Once it's unlocked (whatever Tier) we could switch a Recycler to either spit out the usual Recycled Material or the Import Tickets. A fence piece for each of the sets that is an inward corner. Little right angle action (like two fence meeting in the corner of a square). Hopefully what I'm trying to explain is conveyed.

flower boxes: that take up an entire tile. comes in a lot of good colors and types
flower bushes: similar to the bushes we have but filled with bush flowers like roses and hydrangea
flower groups: this would be good for filling up the grass. love for them to come in various colors

Flowers are coming! We've got some prototypes at the moment.
We're experimenting with both planted, and ones in pots/boxes.
And Ive also requested wildflower terrain tiles so we can have some nice floral ground tiles as well.

I’d love some mystical themed items. Think action adventure jrpg or like chrono trigger. Just started playing and it’s great just wish we had more decor in general.

I've been wondering for a while if we could have corner fences, as well as the ability to place multiple decorative items (decorative blocks) on a single grid cell. This would enhance the aesthetics and offer more decoration options. For example, I'd like to be able to fence around trees or create corners in general.
