Dumb question perhaps, but have you updated to the latest Hermes Agent release? Older versions do not support the tool gateway.

Yeah I was on the latest commit

hermes model worked. I had to switch to Nous and select any random model to get it to prompt me to set up the Tool Gateway, then ran hermes model again to switch back to my main model

tools lets you individually enable gateway use for ecah tool

whereas model gives the holisitic "do you want to switch everything over" question

so yeah tools view can do everything it's just lots of clicks to do it

It did not actually, no. hermes tools prior to hermes model only showed "Nous Subscription" as an option with no mention of "tool gateway", and when I selected "Nous Subscription", it did not add enable_gateway: true under the relevant tools in the config file

In my case, prior to running hermes model, even with nous auth set up, it did not prompt me to use the gateway
