I get this error, and I see at least one other person in Hermes-agent chat having the same issue, screenshot attached, it was working fine the other day now... I get this.

Hey guys, I had the same issue but I simply regenerated my API key (I was using glm 4.7 on openrouter) and it's working now!

#

from reddit

#

can you try that?

I'm using openrouter fine rn can you test any other model to see if that works too?

#

does openrouter require a non-zero balance to use the free models maybe?

I will try other model

If that doesn't work then I think you might have to go to openrouter themselves

#

openrouter's working for me rn and its yelling about your API key being rejected, not the model

Works with antrhopic no issue, I will reach out to openrouter

ok, so heres what I did. I told hermes via sonnet to replace the new key wherever it found it, then I went to openrouter and unselected "include BYOK" option when it comes to limiting its spend. It now works not sure which fixed it.

#

Perhaps, perhaps my byok for the month exceeds the amount I set im not sure.l

#

but it appears to be fixed.

glad it's fixed 🙂
