gateway on root user

Is the only way to bypass the gateway running on root by commenting out the line in code. I tried to use --run-as root and it doesnt work. I am running on an LXC container so security running through root is not a problem for me. Would rather not create more users if I dont have to

Are you trying to run it as root, or trying to stop it from doing so?

i ended up just commenting out the check in the gateway code
