Hi,, I'm sharing my server setup. This is the first server I installed in Mexico, in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, part of the Monterrey metropolitan area.
I use two Finco 400-A multiband antennas with a gain of 10-11 dB and a 20-degree beamwidth, very directional. Since I live in a location where reception is blocked by "Cerro de las Mitras," I use the signals reflected by the Sierra de Chipinque, 20-27 km away. Because the signals are reflected, they arrive with considerable attenuation (approximately 40-50%). Even so, I can still listen to stations from McAllen, TX, 300 km away, and via tropo, when available, from San Antonio and other areas. I'm sharing the logs from last year along with a photo of where the signals are reflected, my antenna, and in the background, the Santa Catarina Valley where I live.

The entire setup uses RG11 coaxial cable. The PC is a Dell Latitude 5580 with 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and an integrated 2G/3G/4G LTE modem as a backup connection in case of main internet outages. It also has two backup UPS units.

I have an Airspy HF connected to the Spyserver Network with a Finco antenna, and a separate T2FD antenna for AM and shortwave. This antenna is also used with the FMDX server.

The Kiwi SDR has an LZ1AQ antenna with a standard, non-switched power supply to minimize noise, and EMI filters to reduce interference from the electrical grid.

My TV has an 2.4 mts 14db Yagui pointed at the same mountain, with that antenna, some channels like KTLM 40.1 fom rio grande TX ( 200km) can be tuned but some from McAllen or San Antonio TX ( 300 to 500 km)can be tuned too

Any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
Cheers!!

Thank you very much. The servers I have in Mexico are with friends or strangers who enjoy amateur radio but don't have equipment/antennas, or if they do, they don't have headless TEF. I don't even know many of them personally, but we're in local DX groups and they've joined the project. Each one has contributed their support and effort, and I'm very grateful to them. Fortunately, they all live in interesting areas, either because they pick up stations via tropospheric scatter, meteor scatter, or E-Skp. I hope to finish the three servers I have in testing soon. The Chetumal server is already public, and I have two more that are still in testing.
